I'm interested in learning about cooking with a pressure cooker. I have a newfangled digital pressure cooker that I've had for a few years. I've never tried it because of a nagging memory in the back of my mind about the dangers of screwing up and ending up with the food splattered all over everywhere. Anyone use a pressure cooker? I'm about to try a meatloaf in there. Anyone have any tips or recipes?

I remember that we watched it all on tv, but have clearer memories of when Kennedy was shot 7 years previously. What I remember most about men walking on the moon for the first time was that my dad worked in a factory that made stuff that went to the moon and he got some moon rocks and dirt that he allowed me to take to school for show 'n tell. I almost didn't want to take it for fear of losing it, he'd engrained such fear in me over it. It was great fun having that at school, tho, and I made it home with the treasure so all was well.

No, I had car insurance that they insisted I transfer from my home state to an Indiana insurance agent since I was planning to live there for 2 years. When I was M & A'd by twi I just left. I didn't stop at the insurance agent's office on the way out of the state. So when I got to where I was going I got insurance there but apparently I forgot to follow up with getting a refund from the IN insurance agent. They've turned it over to the state who wants a copy of my original policy from back then with the policy #. I tried to get the numbers, but nobody had them and I'd long since thrown out any paperwork I had. I would've thought that my driver's license and social security card would prove who I am, but apparently not to the state of Indiana.

The state of Indiana has $52 that belongs to me but they won't let me have it because I don't have my insurance policy number from when I was kicked out of the family corps over 15 years ago. My social security number and driver's license number aren't enough to prove who I am to their satisfaction.

I first spoke in tongues after session 12 and wasn't sure if it was real or not. That was in 1979. Today, in 2009, I still speak in tongues. Just this week someone very dear to me asked me whether I was praying in the spirit or praying with words and that he could feel when I prayed for him. I too still speak in tongues and thank God for it. Not bogus to me either....

Thanks so much for the fun songs and good wishes - this turning 50 has been a great time! I was given a steak dinner in bed as well as a mainicure/pedicure (among other gifts) and now I'm not only 50, but have really bright pink fingernails and toenails, so who's better 'n me? LOL The day was full of fun conversation and recollections of birthdays past mixed with plans for the future - I think the next 50 will be good ones.

Now that was just plain fun to listen to - thanks mstar! I also really enjoyed your old time music in the garden and Ry Cooder - such good stuff!!!
