  1. What's up neighbor?

  2. Falls under law enforcement. We are all one big happy family. Just like Barney the Dinosaur sings about. Boy I would love to bury Barney...
  3. Or they may be lawyers...
  4. Good morning fellow Floridian. :)

  5. It isn't limited to TWI. Too many churches and religions today have found it "necessary" to sweep things under the rug to keep the appearance that "all is well." But guess what? Eventually it gets found out. Look at the Catholic Church with the molestations that were happening for years, getting swept under the rug until someone finally speaks up. Now the whole church is in a frenzy over it. Yes, we are human. Yes, we screw up (I do quite often). Yes, God forgives, but the point is that we must admit our sins and truly be sorry for what we have done! If you don't, then you're only fooling yourself, because God isn't fooled.
  6. As the chaff is being burned off as we speak in TWI, we are also seeing within our own lives the chaff that was attached to us as we were involved in the TWI in our lives. I don't have the experiences as most here, but I can say as an outsider who came in after VPW's death that he was held in WAY to much high of a stature for a man. God like if you will. TWI has been exposed for what it is, and it will continue to be exposed for the cult it truly is, and VPW will be exposed for the scumbag he truly was. You can fool most of the people most of the time, but you cannot fool God for one second. I cannot speak on where VPW stands in the face of God, but when the time comes he has plenty of explaining to do.
  7. And Little Johnny's dad later fully recovered from his concussion...

  9. The only UFO's I've ever seen are the Unidentified Food Objects my kids leave after eating. And sometime later...
  10. John and Elaine Gates. The last I talked to them (before 2000) they were in WV. I first met them in Mobile, Alabama in 1987. From there they moved to NY, NY, and then to WV. They were Corps but I don't have a clue which one. Wayne and Maureen Colonna. I first met them in NY in 1989. They got divorced around 1998-1999 time frame. The last I heard he was still in Miami, Fl and Maureen moved to Nashville to be with her daughter and her husband. They were family Corps. Leslie Castillo. I met her in Staten Island, NY at the same fellowship with Wayne and Maureen. She moved from Staten Island to Plattsburg, then to Jacksonville, Fl, the to Penn. There are others but I cannot remember all of their names. If anyone may know of their wearabouts please let me know.
  11. EEEEEWWWWWWWWWWW! Toe jam! :o
  12. Right before I quit going to the break off fellowships one of the members was showing an old video that had numerous photos of VPW on it. The people there were glued to the TV set and they placed him on such a high pedestal it made me think that these people put VPW on the level of God. I have been in the homes of individuals who seem to have little "altars" made up of a photo of VPW and some other items related to TWI. There is a point that having too much reverance can cross the line into worship.
  13. WAIT! WAIT! I can see too much ankle showing there. That's obscene!
  14. Arrogance is what blinds people to the truth. Case in point here.

    Greetings Y'all

I am new to this site. A little about me. I never was Way Corp or any of those things. I first got involved in 1987 in Mobile Alabama at my first Coast Guard duty station. The people who I attended fellowship with actually shielded me from what was happening in the ministry. While things occured that I was initially not aware of, as the time went on and I began moving around the country I noticed several things that were happening. I do not consider myself a follower of any one person or their ministry. I have not attended fellowship since 2000 where I currently live in Florida. I have noticed that the branch off's of the original ministry still try to follow the original teachings of VPW. I do not totally agree with all of what he taught, and I question some of the translations and even the areas that he concentrated on. I do feel, however, that God did place me in the right place for a reason. I feel what has happened in the Way is a result of people following man instead of God. When something becomes organized religion, the man is putting his own rules into the mix. Sometimes we cannot always help it, but it is something we should be aware of. If there is one thing that I did notice during my time with those who were involved with the Way and the breakoff's after, is that there was, and in some cases, an arrogant attitude towards those who were going to churches, such as Catholics, Baptists, and others. I do not believe on religion is better than others. Some do concentrate on man made rules more than the Word of God, but who are we to judge who is better than the other. I do believe that all believers of God and Jesus Christ regardless of class of religion will be in heaven, not just the followers of VPW or the Way. Like anything else, focus on God and Jesus Christ instead of the person who is reading from his notes and the Bible. :)
