I do too understand what Linda Z is saying. Each of us take away from whatever we are taught and try our best to figure out what is right or wrong and time helps us sort those things out. I understand that a lot of people are not what they may appear to be. I guess my biggest problem is people that we trusted with our lives. I never had to trust a teacher with my life. Yep I did have to trust my parents with my life and I am on the lucky side of that(they were good to me). vp,cm and rr were supposed to bring us to God and teach us from the bible how to live the more abundant life. Atleast I trusted them with my life. It really was a scam. The truths I hold on to have weighed out in time that they taught and some of the false things they taught I have found out too. Problem is I do not know about the rest of what they taught to be true or not. Some may say go to the scriptures and research them. I don't know if the way they taught us to research is right? Bottom line is I did trust them with my life and then to see what my life meant to them(nothing but greed and to bring in more people for them). I do think that our Father loves us a whole lot more. He wants people brought to him so he can love us and us Him, not steal,kill and destroy.

Ohh the food. Emporia was an aquired taste for me. I hated comming off of bless patrol in January and getting that fruit that was still frozen. :unsure: I will say Emporia's food was healthy, you just had to get used to it and some I never did. Benny's whole wheat bread. mmmmmmmmmm good stuff. I went to hq for my last block and the food was totally different. It was real food.

IMHO............He had to teach error to make his ministry to stand out alone. He had to have people believe his error and follow him. By what he taught and what we believed made us follow one man while discounting and rejecting other beliefs. This is how he got such a big following and our money. vpw was a rebel and made us rebels. We thought we were elite but what we ended up being was a follower of a man. We were to be together as much as possibe and not with unbelievers. We were to witness what we were taught in pfal and yes some of it was truth. Get them to twig and see if they were open to hear and agree with "Blue Book" teachings. Then get them to sign up for pfal so they would soon be just like us (a wierwille believer).

I agree with that Rascal. That was sort of my point I was at HQ for some time and was ignorant of what was going on. That is why I also wanted to as how "deep" his parents were in. My guess is not real "deep" since his dad had to be cleared to go to SNS. I just think he is going to have to come to this conclusion too. Maybe he will maybe he wont. I think more we need to think along the lines of how deeply they were in. ie. way corps, advanced class grads, did they work at HQ or know the higher ups personally. Abuse was started very early on in the pfal sessions. Remember "Breath Life" God breathed life into Adam. So in other words a fetus was not alive until he/she was born and breathed. So according to vp the fetus was not alive but was a parasite(Yes he said this). This alone could justify why their were many abortions performed. It was twi doctrine and the only way to keep that baby was to go against what twi taught and leave. The man was a hack and twisted scripture to benifit him.

I think that nails it on the head. They used any excuse to cover up or hide anything they wanted. It came to the point IMHO we saw people kicked out and were told they were possesed and we BELIEVED it. It happened so many times we BELIEVED it to our core of our mind set. So when it happened to people they believed they were kicked out because they were not right and had failed God. I am so glad that lasted with me for a very short while after I left. I was labled as possesed (I found out from an innie). There was no internet back then and I was out on my own. I did not know anyone that was out so I dealt with it on my own. Funny thing about it. I still believed I was right in the eyes of God. Can you say "sonship rights". twi knew how to mess up a mind and got better and better at it. The deeper you got in to twi the bigger the mind f*@k was.

Yes a believer could get possesed by a devil spirit and still was born again. What was also said D, was that you could only be born of one seed, either by the spirit of God or of the devil. Once born of one or the other it could not be reversed. I sort of have a problem with that teaching.

OM, That is exactly what they taught. I just wonder if it is 100% accurate. I would like to think it is. In the old testament, God could give you spirit (button goes into the glass). When the person did something against God He would take his spirit back represented by the button comming out of the water during pfal. The day of pentacost God made it available for us to be sons and daughters of God. As soon as we believed in our hearts Romans 10:9&10 the button was lowered into the glass and never comes out in other words filled with Gods gift to us (His spirit). Did twi even come close to practicing that in practice? In no way did they practice that. If you left for whatever reason whether a person was just fed up with their crap or thrown out or if a MOG was effing your wife. TWI try as they may yanked that button out and claimed the person as scum and ruled by devil spirits and would be grease spots by midnight. Did they ever say that "There goes a Son or Daughter of God with all of his or her God given rights" We wish them the best." Not hardly. In other words they said we were playing with the devil in his own back yard. Some may have turned to play with the devil...........but I doubt that was the main reason for leaving. I say people left on their own because they knew things were not right with twi. Some kicked out (M&A) because they would not bow to the MOG or to keep the MOG's and others hidden secrets people were thrown out and their names were slandered to the rest of twi. When in retrospect it was the "higher ups" in twi were playing big time with the major devil spirits as twi would label people that left or kicked out. twi taught one thing but lived another. That is why I really wonder how much truth is in what they teach.
