  1. LOL. I don't think Godzilla was filmed in the Houston area. This film was the favorite of the director. (An actor, but who did not appear in this film. His brother did.) Much of the film was made in the greater Houston area. I have eaten at a Tex-Mex place in Friendswood displaying a photo of the film stars eating there. Walter Cronkite added new voice tracks to old archival footage. Weightless scenes were filmed aboard the "Vomit Comet." None of the stars got sick, but several of the film crew did. The director often jokingly referred to his stars as "actronauts." George

  12. Up, Up, and Away "Take back the holly and mistletoe, silver bells on string. If I wrote a letter to Santa Claus, I would ask for just one thing..." (Hint: this song was very popular around 1990. A song with the same name has been a monster hit for the last few years.) George
  13. Darn it! I'm SURE I know this one, but I'm blanking. George
  14. Yes. It was five consecutive episodes of Flash, but with cameos of varying length and importance from LoT, Batwoman, Supergirl, Black Lightning, and Arrow. There were two main villains. One was often seen on the show; the other was a DC villain not previously seen in the Arrowverse. Another minor villain had the same name as an old Justice League villain, but with a different gender and power set. George
  15. Binged "Armageddon." Not so much a cross-over as Flash episodes with guest cameos. Episode 1 Ray Palmer. Episode 2 Alex Danvers. Episode 3 Black Lightning, Batwoman, and Ryan Choi. Episode 4 Batwoman, Choi, Danvers. Episode 5 Mia Smoak, Nora Darhk. There are also appearances by other Flash team members and villains. Most of the action is resolved by the end of episode 4; 5 is largely interpersonal touch-feely stuff. I did enjoy the appearance of some old Justice League villains. George
  16. Well, I wouldn't have gotten the performer's name, anyway; but yes, I can "hear" Stand Tall. George
