  1. Correct. Actually, Van Damme was a TIMEcop. WW is up.
  2. In this movie, a space cop finds out that ground up (dead) people are being used for food. George
  3. Another May-December story. Columbia Pictures really wanted Marlon Brando to star in this film, for his "box office allure", even though he hadn't been in a film since 1980. The director and the female lead, however, insisted on the actor who would get the part being in this film, resulting in his only Academy Award nomination. (He didn't win.) Reportedly, apparently the Columbia Pictures studio did not want to make the movie at all because it had no "sex or violence" in it. The female lead once said on the A&E television show Biography that her kissing scene with the star in this picture was the best on-screen kiss she had ever had. George
  4. "I'm in love for the last time in my life." "I'm in love for the first time in my life." "Stay to supper?" "I won't do that unless I'm still here at breakfast." "How do you like your eggs?" (Putting candles on a birthday cake) "Okay, what is it? How old are you?" "Just set the damn thing on fire!" George
  5. Jack Thornton Christian Peter Warne Duke Bradley Chris Hunter Gerald Meldrick Gay Langland Cmdr. "Rich" Richardson Victor Marswell Devereaux Burke Flint Mitchell Victor Albee Norman George Hint: all of these roles are from over a half century ago.
  6. Still liking Stargirl. Even the Seven Soldiers of Victory get a mention (and maybe a cameo?). George
  7. "Another Day" by Paul & Wings? George
  8. At least that's a name I recognize. Now if I can just think of something she's been in... George
  9. You've done this before, I think. M*A*S*H? George
  10. Well, you didn't underline the second part, initially, so I assumed you were just giving examples. ET, Predator, and the Greys have the basic human, bipedal shape. Hmmmm…. "Howard the Duck Soup"? George
  11. As Good As It Gets (?) I think Nicholson and Hunt won awards, and she's a lot younger than he is. George
  12. I was thinking more in the lines of "taking the form of a man" like Starman or My Stepmother is an Alien. Now, it could be almost ANY alien: ET, Predator, Close Encounter aliens. George
  13. It's also quite possible that neither Raf nor WW knows the answer. I'm just the only one who SAID he doesn't know the answer. George
  14. That first part seems pretty familiar, but I'm not getting it. I'm afraid my memory just isn't what it used to be. George
  15. The Freedonia/Sylvania thing sounds familiar. I'm sure I could get the first half if I could get the latter. George
  16. Again, not helpful. Even if I knew Affleck's brother, I'd also have to know another movie he's in. Tomorrow, however, makes three days... George
  17. Ah. I have no idea whom he was dating. George
  18. I realize that there are a lot of great movies, and we can't see them all, but this one was a classic. I highly recommend it. George
  19. I watched Joker, but I don't remember who played his girlfriend. I can picture her, but I don't think she's well-known. George
  20. See how easy that was? Of course, not having seen the movie, Raf wouldn't know what the scene involved. In a celebration after the defeat of the Nazis, a Russian general (through his interpreter) asked if Patton would join him in a drink. Patton's response, "I'm not drinking with any Russian son of a b-tch." The interpreter was loathe to relay that message, but Patton insisted. The Russian replied that he thought Patton was a son of a b-tch, as well. Patton laughed and said he WOULD drink, as "one son of a b-tch with another." George
  21. Jack Thornton Christian Peter Warne Duke Bradley Chris Hunter Gerald Meldrick George
