Well, see, they could have had fairly small roles in any of the LotR films, and I wouldn't know it. I'm spitballing, here. Maybe Raf knows and is keeping mum. I'm pretty sure Human would jump in if he knew the answer. Assuming they're following this thread -- MERRY CHRISTMAS, GUYS! George

Having recently seen a couple of Sherlock episodes, I could now recognize Martin Freeman. With Elijah Wood (I'm pretty sure this isn't Sin City), I'll guess it's a Lord of the Rings movie, maybe Fellowship of the Ring? George

Name that Actor/Actress (or Role)

I think Christopher Reeve played Virgil Swann in Smallville. George -
Since no one won, I'll go ahead. "Arrogance and fear still keep you from learning the simplest and most significant lesson of all." "Which is?" "It's not about you." "Well, what's this? My mantra?" "The Wi-Fi password. We're not savages." "How's your Sanskrit?" "I'm fluent in Google Translate." George

That was a tough one, because other than Silent Bob and Jay, most of the actors are unknowns. Jason Mewes Chasing Amy Ben Affleck George

LOL. Unfortunately, with out at least googling photos, I have no idea who two of the actors are. The only films I've seen Cumberbatch in are Star Trek: Into Darkness and his Dr. Strange appearances. Just for giggles, I'll try Dr. Strange George

So, do we talk about it, now? As an aside, the final few episodes of Watchmen were very good. (As a further aside, the final issue of DC's Doomsday Clock is finally out. I've picked it up but haven't read it yet.) George

Rephrasing a bit: Carole Stanwyck and Sydney Kovak have nothing in common; they are the polar opposites of one another. Carole is a former socialite, who lost her fortune and is now making a living as a photographer and a courier. Sydney's father's a con-man, so she knows her way around the streets. She is also a pick pocket and a jazz bass player. The only thing that they have in common is the fact that they were both married Raymond Caulfield, a private investigator. When he was killed he left everything including his agency to them. After apprehending the one who killed him, they decided to run the agency themselves. In previous roles, the actress how played Carole worked for military intelligence, and the actress who played Sydney worked for a radio station. With these two stars, It's hard to see why the show only lasted one season. Maybe they needed a redhead to round out the team. Overseas, the title was Fifty/Fifty, to avoid confusion with a concurrent Agatha Christie show with a similar name. George

I was in graduate school. I had taken PFAL that summer and was getting pretty involved in TWI. My younger brother (also at U of Illinois, as an undergraduate) promised my parents he'd keep me away from Kool-Aid. George

It should, indeed. It has to be Wonder Woman. I assume the "spin-off" actress is Debra Winger (Wonder Girl). The lead actor of the other franchise was probably Chris Reeve. George

Sorry, though I would have almost considered it a given. I do recommend watching the "Crisis Aftermath" shows. They don't give any future things away (other than the non-Crisis-related Stargirl series to debut this spring), but they do have some nice takes on things already revealed. George

Although I've seen The Princess Bride numerous times, I've only seen Forrest Gump once. I don't remember RWP from it, or from Wonder Woman, which I have seen a few times. I think I saw Unbreakable, but I haven't seen Beowulf. So, not a drop kick for me. Good for Human. George
