  3. Actually, no. The "never...see me coming" line seems vaguely familiar. The rest of it seems like a parody of some hostage/terrorist movie. Some funny lines, but a lot of it seems quite serious. I'm still at a loss. George
  4. That's the one. He also starred as Johnny Cash in "Walk the Line." You're up. George
  5. You can now say that you've said it, but it's not the right answer. George
  6. This one didn't fare any better than when I tried it five years ago. I would hope that at least the actresses were recognizable from this clue: In previous roles, the actress who played Carole worked for military intelligence and later for the IADC, and the actress who played Sydney worked for a radio station in Ohio. Anyway, the show was called "Partners in Crime" (not to be confused with "Agatha Christie's Partners in Crime"). FREE POST. George
  7. Yes, though I first saw her as James Woods's daughter on the TV show "Shark." (Yes, "Sky High" appeared earlier, but I only saw it on cable, afterward.) I didn't recognize Winstead, but, according to IMDb, she's been in a number of TV series (none of which I've seen). 8MM Signs Walk the Line George
  8. The actors sound like Alec Baldwin and Harrison Ford. (Baldwin is famous now for a lot of reasons, and Ford played Jack Ryan a couple of times after Baldwin.) Even if I'm correct about that, though, I still don't know the main movie you refer to. George
  9. Yes. Which one(s) gave it away? I hadn't gotten to any of the really obvious ones, yet. George

  13. Sadly, there's not that much about this show on the internet. One last rephrasing: Carole Stanwyck and Sydney Kovak have nothing in common; they are the polar opposites of one another. Carole is a former socialite, who lost her fortune and is now making a living as a photographer and a courier. Sydney's father's a con-man, so she knows her way around the streets. She is also a pick pocket and a jazz bass player. The only thing that they have in common is the fact that they were both married Raymond Caulfield, a private investigator. When he was killed he left everything including his agency to them. After apprehending the one who killed him, they decided to run the agency themselves. In previous roles, the actress who played Carole worked for military intelligence and later for the IADC, and the actress who played Sydney worked for a radio station in Ohio. With these two stars, It's hard to see why the show only lasted one season. Maybe they needed a redhead to round out the team. Overseas, the title was Fifty/Fifty, to avoid confusion with a concurrent Agatha Christie show with a similar name. George
