There was a Justice League arc "Trial by Fire" several years ago (2004) where MM went a little nuts. Superman said that he was one of five beings in the universe he didn't want to go toe-to-toe with. Interestingly, they used Plastic Man to keep MM busy, because he could match the shape-shifting and because his "non-organic" brain was impervious to MM's telepathy. Okaaaaay... I'm pretty sure that the Supergirl MM DID phase through a wall, at least once, to read the mind of someone locked in a cell. If I'm not mistaken, Max Lord caught it on video. George

M'yrrn going isn't really a surprise, and having him essentially single-handedly beat the Worldkiller was as fitting a way to go as any. I just loved his interactions with Earth and with J'onn. And, I'll confess, I've like Lumbly's work since Mantis and Alias. The fact that he voiced J'onn J'onzz in the Justice League cartoons gave his appearance on Supergirl a bit of a nostalgic touch. I REALLY hope that we see more of J'onn. One of my happiest moments in the first season of Supergirl was when "Hank Henshaw" revealed himself. Next to Green Lantern, the Martian Manhunter has always been my favorite. Okay, so he's not Kryptonian strong, fast, or invulnerable; but he's way above human level AND can shape shift AND can be intangible AND is telepathic. (I remember a Detective Comic back in the 60's where JJ was exposed to some meteorite which made him unable to use his other powers (except maybe flight) when he was invisible. Clearly, this was just a gimmick to keep him from being TOO powerful, even with the weakness to fire.) So, is Brainiac 5 staying at the DEO? That wasn't clear to me. George

I thought that the actors who played Han, Chewie, and Lando gave good "prequel" performances. It's like watching "Young Sheldon." All of the actors (and especially Iain Armitage) give fun looks into their "older" versions. George -

I think WW is only a couple of years younger than I, so he would have been around in the late 60s, and probably old enough to listen to the radio. It seems like a pleasant song, but I don't remember it. George

Byrne and McCrindle were two of the rebellion generals. BTW, I saw "Solo" and thought it was fine. I heard that it wasn't very well received, but I haven't heard any specific criticisms. What was the problem? George -
I hate to be the spoiler, but it seems that some of you are so far behind that I'll never get to post anything, if I wait for you to catch up. George

Now that Supergirl is done for the season, all of the DC shows are wrapped up. I'm sad to see that Winn and Mon-el are leaving, and M'yrrn (and J'onn?). They all added warmth to the show. And Wally is leaving LoT (and Flash). It's like watching your kids leave home. George

Of course, the OT also has a punishment for manslaughter (flee to a city of refuge until the death of the High Priest). The person who causes the pregnant woman to lose her child does not face that punishment, either. George -

Honestly, I would not have known the last three at all, except that Peter Mayhew appeared at Comicpalooza last month. I know that big fans of the movie would know the names. But it was either give those names, give really obscure, minor-role actors, or give really FAMOUS stars. Since you're obviously good with waiting, let's see if Human or anyone else can get it. Wrong. Some stars of the movie: Michael Madsen, Brad Pitt, Harvey Keitel, Christopher McDonald A "buddy" flick. Ridley Scott was reportedly so amazed with Hans Zimmer's score, that he created a main title sequence (with Zimmer's music over it), rather than giving the main credits at the end, as it was primarily planned. Johnny Depp, Tom Cruise, Scott Baio, Christopher Atkins, Sean Penn, Kevin Bacon, and Alec Baldwin were all considered for the role Brad Pitt played. Michelle Pfeiffer and Jodie Foster were originally chosen for the leads and accepted the roles, but preproduction took too long, and had to drop out due to other commitments. George

Actually, a far more famous movie. Except for a few bit part actors, though, it's hard not to give it away. Even these might do it: Eddie Byrne Alex McCrindle Peter Cushing Anthony Daniels Kenny Baker Peter Mayhew George -
