Well, I figured the "famously contemplated suicide" character had to be Hamlet. Checking IMDb, the most recent versions starred Kenneth Branagh and Mel Gibson. Unable to think of any comedic action film starring Branagh. I thought about Gibson and Lethal Weapon, which, coincidentally enough, had three sequels. I don't remember Gibson's character being suicidal, but then it's been a long time since I saw the movie. I'll return with some clues, shortly. George

I believe that the comedic action movie was Lethal Weapon, and the classic character, Hamlet (both starring Mel Gibson). George

Those names sound awfully familiar... George -
"Friend, that's more words than you've spoke in the past two weeks." "Hell, that's the most I've spoke in a year." "Anything interesting up there in heaven?" "I was just sending up a prayer of thanks." "For what?" "For you forgettin' to bring that harmonica. I'm enjoyin' the peace and quiet." "You know, your friend could come inside, have a cup of coffee..." "He's from Texas." "Texans don't drink coffee?" George

In lines with your "Name that Flick" flick, this is probably one of the Muppet movies. If one of them were "riding a bicycle," it would be a bit of a challenge to pull it off. Since you mention NYC, I'm going to guess "The Muppets Take Manhattan," again pointing out that I haven't seen ANY of the Muppet movies. George

Dude. I've never seen any of the Muppet movies. I think there was one called "Muppets." George

Pretty much any ventriloquist. There was a movie called "The Ventriloquist" a few years ago, but none of the actors listed were in the cast. So, again, I have no idea. George

"The Muppet Movie"? George

This reminds me of a "Wheel of Fortune" episode, where, after contestants guess all of the consonants and buy all the vowels, Pat Sajack says, "I guess now it just depends on whether you can pronounce it." I STILL have no idea what this movie is. George

"Yogi Bear"? George

Only, I don't recognize any of the actors below Edgar Bergen. Especially Caroll Spinney. If this were "TV Mash-Up," I'd guess Hollywood Squares. But I'm still coming up empty on this movie. George

Quite possibly. Also, quite possibly, I haven't seen it. I suppose, that when the title is finally revealed, I might go George

Indeed. Which one gave him away? George -
I knew that. I just can't name one. George

No. Even with the pasted in old movies, there weren't that many comics in it. I'm thinking, something like "That's Entertainment," but I don't think it's any of those. George

It sounds like a movie with cartoon characters and live actors. I know it's not "Who Framed Roger Rabbit," so... "Space Jam"? George
