  1. Clinton never got 50%. Obama, Reagan, and both Bushes got in the 50s, but not the 60s. George
  2. Sky High Kurt Russell Captain Ron George PS: Did you see MEW and costar from Birds of Prey Ewan McGregor in the Showtime miniseries A Gentleman in Moscow? Great series!
  3. Nope. Truman got just under 50%. Eisenhower did better (both times) but didn't top 58%. George
  4. Surprisingly, no, though he did pull 60.8% in 1936. Nixon got 60.7% in 1972. Who's the winner? George As a side note, Lincoln got the LOWEST popular vote percentage of all time, in 1860, just under 40%.
  5. Now they're predicting Raf () to spin around a while and then just dissipate due to wind shear. George
  6. Allowing for misspelling Kojak, you're correct. George
  7. No. Wilson never topped 50%. His successor, Harding, was one of the ones to get over 60%, but he's not the all-time (20th century) winner, either. George
  8. Same movie: "Every minute you don't tell us why you are here, I cut off a finger." "Mine or yours?" "Yours!" "Damn!" George
  9. Sounds like a Ray Charles song, but I don't recognize it. George
  10. Seasons in the Sun "My Daddy was a cop, on the east side of Chicago..." George
  11. Interesting turn Rafael seems to be taking... George
  12. I answered Raf (Superman). My post is the series of "Doctor"s. If that isn't a good clue, I can give another from the film, but I think this is the most familiar. George
  13. Nope. Reagan got 50.8% (1980) and 58.8% (1984), so he doesn't break the top four. George
  14. Years ago, my mother-in-law was riding in a car and saw a sign reading "Litter Barrel, 2 mi." She thought it was the name of a town. It was actually just a place to dump your trash, but in Texas that wouldn't be an unbelievable name. With Election Day behind us, here's an election trivia question: Which 20th-Century President received the highest percentage of the POPULAR vote? (I'm limiting it to 20th-Century because some of the 18th- and 19th-Century elections were real blowouts, George Washing ran unopposed -- twice -- Jefferson, 1804, and James Monroe, 1816 and 1820, were over 70%.) Hint: there were only four elections in the 1900s where the winner received more than 60% of the popular vote. George
  15. How about "The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Hour"? George
  16. Not predicting Rafael to be a hurricane when it hits the US, but they always seem to underestimate the severity of these things. George
  17. This is Elmer Fudd. It could be from almost any Bugs Bunny show. George
