  1. With Margaret Dumont, I suspect that the Marx Brothers were involved. Unfortunately, never having seen a movie of theirs in its entirety, I couldn't name either of these. George
  2. Deja vu! (WW pulled a George) I got it last time. I'll let someone else get it this time. :) George
  3. Even teasing, Raf must have had some reason to come with THAT title. Anyway, you are correct. The "handicap" I was referring to was his lack of knowledge of using the suit. It was cute initially, but you knew he'd either get the hang of it or he was a complete dolt. I don't think I watched the show long enough to find out which. I do remember one cute scene where a little kid, obviously from reading comic books or watching cartoons, tells him how to fly: "Take three steps and jump!" George
  4. There were two TV shows by this name. Neither is the correct answer. I'm interested to know how you came to make this guess. :) George
  5. This is not a cartoon. Although DC Comics tried to sue the producers for copying Superman, the show's premise is closer to that of another DC Comics character, Green Lantern, who was given a power ring by an alien to become a superhero. At the start of the series, the stars had difficulties getting along and working with each other. They were able to use that to their advantage as their relationship reflected that as the one portrayed between their respective characters. The stars became good friends by the series' end. The main character's surname was changed from Hinkley to Hanley after the assassination attempt on Reagan. The hero has a "handicap," which while making for a useful pilot and maybe a few episodes, his failure to overcome it made him look sappy (IMHO). George

  7. Stars Clifton Webb as JP Sousa. Contestants include Leah Remini, Jaleel White, Kendra Wilkinson, and "Snooki" Polizzi. George

  10. While I was sleeping, someone* "upgraded" my IE 10 to IE 11. Naturally, this means no improvement, just messing around with functions I was perfectly happy with. In particular, the tabs now align underneath the URL bar, instead of beside it. Is there any way to move the tabs "back where they belong"? George *presumably, Windows Update
  11. I think the movie is "Animal House." I think the TV show was called "Delta House." George
  12. WW's response a few days ago in "Name that Flick": "Diary of a Very Tired Car Mechanic"???? Apparently, "Diary of a Very Tired..." is a running theme. :) George
  13. That would have been one of the easier ones to come later. ;) George

    Jim Martin

I'm guessing that this Jim Martin was not VPW's son-in-law? I suspect that the Jim Martin I've met is older than 57. George
