They can be mixed, as with "Interview with the Vampire" and "The Vampire Diaries." ;) In this case, I believe we're looking for "Happy Days of Thunder." George -
The soundtrack clue was what gave it away. Then I remembered the SyFy (or was it still Sci-Fi) Channel's "Flash Gordon" series. It wasn't terrific, but it was an interesting take on the characters. Tripping over an ottoman, or not tripping over it, depending on the season. George
