  1. Those were from "Blood Diamond." I'll be out of town for a few days, so free post! George
  2. That was "Julie, Julie, Julie, Do you Love Me?" by Bobby Sherman. I'll be out of town for a few days, so anyone can go ahead. George
  3. Using Firefox did get me onto the "Songs Remembered..." page. George
  4. No idea about the reference, but at least I can access this page using Firefox! George
  5. Danteh, The rules here are that you need to guess correctly the previous poster's episode before posting one of your own. Since these seem to involve time distortion, however, I'll let it pass. I believe you are correct about Maddy's post. I will therefore guess yours. It's either the original Star Trek pilot "The Cage" or its "remixed" version, "The Menagerie." Since "The Cage" was not actually aired until years later, the first episode seen would be "The Menagerie." George
  6. I admit that there are a boatload of questions on the table, but it would be nice to get a FEW answers... George
  7. Istill can't open the last page of the "Songs Remembered from..." thread. It's odd, because I don't have the problem anywhere else on the board (including the first page of the thread). George
  8. One of those three is correct. Which one? George
  9. One of my dear friends had a stroke several years ago. Though she could still write, her speech was severely affected. Eventually, the frustration was too much, and she took her own life. :( Hang in there, Roy. God will get you through. George
  10. I presume that you're joking. <_< George
  11. "He is my son. I am his father. I must go find him. Go ahead, shoot me if you want, but I will go find him." "The Third World is not a world apart... and the witness you will hear today speaks on its behalf. Let us hear the voice of that world. Let us learn from that voice... and let us ignore it no more. Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Solomon Vandy." "In America, it's bling bling. But out here it's bling bang." "You lost both your parents." "That's a polite way of putting it, ja. Mum was raped and shot and uh... Dad was decapitated and hung from a hook in the barn. I was nine... boo-hoo right?" George
  12. "Trust no one." "I'm afraid I can't help you." "Why?" "The last time I helped you, I bloodied my fist and revealed my identity." "Sometimes the only sane answer to an insane world is insanity." "You have seen this before, I can tell. You lied to them." "I would never lie. I willfully participated in a campaign of misinformation." "Toads just fell from the sky!" "I guess their parachutes didn't open." George
  13. Comw on! I know half the guys here are smitten with Kelly Preston! George
  14. Okay, then, free post for anyone who wants to give it a try! George
  15. This will probably be a stumper, but who knows? Being alone at night makes me sad, girl Yeah, it brings me down all right Tossing and turning and freezing and burning And crying all through the night. George
  16. What YOU had to do with YOUR life? Just to satisfy my morbid sense of curiosity, would you share some of it? George
  17. I took "graduated more than once" to describe my Baccalaureate and Doctorate degrees. Geroge
  18. The error message was basically, "Microsoft Internet Explorer cannot open page blahblahblah. Operation aborted." I can open the first page of the thread, just not the last. George
  19. There was another thread recently, with the same title. I ignored this one, thinking it was the previous. You might emend the title for clarity. George
  20. I don't know if this is a "post-upgrade" issue, per se; but when I try to open the "Songs remembered from just one line" thread in the Reading Room, I get a big error message (and it won't open). I don't seem to have this problem with any other thread. George
