  1. Well, the "cda file" appears to be a shortcut. I'll try attaching the march right from the CD, but I think I'm having a problem with read/write permissions. George Still not getting it. How do I convert the file on CD to something I can actually store (and attach to a post)?
  2. Well, Sudo, Here's something a little different. As you may know, I write marches (about one a year) and am fortunate enough to have the Brazosport Community Band perform them. Assuming I can attach this file correctly, here's the one I wrote last year, entitled "Jacob." Most of my marches have biblical titles, but this one is really for my older grandson. George P.S. A recent picture of both of my grandsons is in the Gallery. Hmm. It doesn't seem to be attaching. It's a cda file, if that makes any difference. It comes up fine on my computer in Windows Media Player. Help!
  3. If it's all the same to you, then yes, I will try my hand. George
  4. There was a picture starring Margeaux Hemmingway entitiled "Lipstick." Is that it? George
  5. Sorry, I'm not great at picking out people with miniscule roles, so you'll just have to deal with Liam Neeson Leap of Faith Debra Winger George
  6. It was from Enterprise, but not the episode you named. I'l give a more obvious clue later. George
  7. Raf is always glad to lend a hand. Go, Dooj. George

  9. Glad to have you playing! If hubby can't show you how to post pics from the Internet, take a look at p. 22 of this thread. George
  10. "How long can we sustain warp five?" "As long as the Captain wants it. Or until we blow up, whichever comes first." George
  11. Shaka...when the walls fell. :( Next Generation Episode "Darmok," one of my favorites. In fact, I was going to use Shaka.. next! George
  12. "Red Rubber Ball" by (I believe it's spelled) Cyrcle. George
  13. There was an old series called "Highway Patrol." Is that it? (HIGHWAY + butter PAT + TROLL) George
  14. Tatum O'Neal Little Darlings Kristy McNichol George
  15. Correct. The first quote was from the end of an exchange where Data tells O'Brien, "I have good news! Keiko has called off the wedding!" Of course, O'Brien stomps off to find out what's going on, puzzling Data, who thinks he should be happy to accede to her wishes. Geordi tells him, "Next time, let ME give the good news." Had this clue not been figured out, I would have used Dr. Crusher's line, "You didn't tell me you wanted to dance AT A WEDDING!" George
  16. David Niven Casino Royale Woody Allen George
  17. Of course, EVERYBODY knows the Star Trek and Next Generation tunes, so I linked Deep Space 9 and Voyager. Like the first two, they had nice, symphonic theme songs. Then along came Enterprise, with this aberration, which probably was the reason the show never took off (so to speak). It's too bad, because Enterprise, at least in teh last season, had some great shows. A two-parter featuring the "mirror" universe used this theme song instead. Not terrific, but better! And I know I need another server to "hide" titles. I'm sure Rick or Sudo would lend me some space, but it's not necessary. Just enjoy the links! George
  18. I have no idea what the movie is, but that exchange is priceless! George
  19. Second clue: "Sometimes you get the bear; sometimes the bear gets you." George
  20. It's only relevant if a remake uses different lyrics and the lyrics you quote are specific to only one of the performers. George
  21. Dooj, I'm assuming that your post had such an air of authority that Chas assumed you would post the next puzzle. It does seem likely that you were correct. (Cute puzzle, too!) George
