  1. This not being Movie Pictionary and all, I took a look at the properties. Gotta tell ya, Tom, I never heard of this guy! George
  2. How do you... do it? (kill) I was trained by the best. British intelligence. George
  3. Is "I'm leaving now" a lyric? You ARE up, Sunny one! George
  4. The following line from John Masefield's "Sea-Fever" was quoted in one of the Star Trek films: "And all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by." George
  5. People walking and a "tall ship." George Eagle lady, you're up!
  6. I confess to having watched "The Banana Splits." I still don't know the show from Sudo's post. It's not "Stingray." which is the only show like "Thunderbirds" that I can remember. George
  7. I remember dancing to "The Sultans of Swing" and other Dire Straits tunes; I just never paid much attention to the lyrics. George
  8. Pre-1964, I probably watched TV and may have watched the show, but I don't remember it. At first I thought it was THIS SHOW, but that was later 60's. George
  9. I don't know if there's such a movie, but "Sidewalk Sale"? George P.S. Flash Gordon was correct, of course.
  10. Here's an easy one, at least for comic book fans: George
  11. Normally, I would bridle at "flute oboe" for "flew over." but it's actually pretty clever. I assume the first picture is Juan Valdez, from the old coffee ads. I believe Likeaneagle is up! George
  12. Teri Garr Mom and Dad Save the World Jon Lovitz George
  13. It's funny. Sometimes all the clues show up; sometimes there's a little "x" where a picture should be; sometimes one takes a long time to load; sometimes one never shows up. It may have to do with browser (Mozilla vs. IE vs. ?) George
  14. Well, since Sharon apparently answered her own post (???), I guess we're back to WW's (a song I don't recognize). George
  15. Matthew Broderick Glory Cary Elwes George
  16. I hope the first clue isn't too obscure. George
  17. Thanks, Tom. Pretender America. No, wait... "Air America." George
  18. Robert Redford The Natural Darin McGavin Geroge
  19. It's been a long time since I met Research Geek (I doubt he remembers); but I thought he was pursuing an advanced degree in Aramaic at U of Chicago at the time (ca. 1980). Whether or not he had an advanced degree before joining TWI, I would consider him a scholar. I imagine Catcup would, too; perhaps it was spousely modesty that she mentioned someone else! George
  20. James Earl Jones Coming to America Don Ameche George
  21. I agree with Raf, Ca D, but I want to make sure you know we're not trying to discourage you from posting. Sometimes it just takes a little while to think of a good clue for a syllable or syllables. (And then it can be REALLY frustrating when you can't find a picture for it!) George
