  1. Okay, how about "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly"? George
  2. Remarkably, I recognize the first person as Justice Thurgood Marshall. "Thurgoods and Mick"? Just kidding. George
  3. Just wondering (I hope it hasn't been addressed here already)... VPW (the Man of God for his day) said that the manifestation of prophecy was in evidence in the OT. LCM (the Man of God for HIS day) said that it wasn't. (OT "prophecy" was revelation.) What is TWI's current teaching on this? George
  4. I had that first impression, too! I believe, however, that it's a big storm beginning to envelop a city. George
  5. Tom, would you favor Doojable with a reply? George
  6. Sudo's film clip came up great for me. George And I didn't see the Honor Blackman episodes until a couple of years ago when the Mystery Encore Channel ran all the Avengers episodes (well, not including the "New Avengers" episodes). I remember my sister telling me about a show called "The Avengers." Being the comic-book afficionado that I am, I assumed it featured the Marvel comic-book group. I was disappointed at first, but grew to enjoy the show immensely. Sure, it was oddball; tha's what made it so interesting.
  7. Sounds like an interesting movie. Maybe I'll rent it (when I find out what it is). George
  8. Of all of Steed's partners, I think I liked "Tara King" (Linda Thorson) best. Tara King George
  9. The "Mike Hammer" theme was "Harlem Nocturne." I don't recognize this theme, though it does sound like a cop/P.I.-type show. George
  10. I don't know. I just felt that somebody should say SOMETHING after three days! :) George
  11. I declare Tom the winner, no matter how hard he tried to give it to Dooj. The comedienne's name is Thea Vidal THEA (or D.A.) + V.A. + THOR = "The Aviator." George
  12. Okay. Here's a revised version of the same puzzle. This should be easier. George
  13. I believe his initials are B.I., Cowgirl. George
  14. It's a flattering photo. She really is, shall we say, "Rubenesque." I don't know if this will help, but I'm looking for her first name. Her last name is Vitale. George
  15. Warning: This "Nazarite vow" thing always bothered me. There's a whole lot more to the Nazarite vow than long hair. No drinking, for instance. No touching a dead body. (A supposition here: does this also mean not CAUSING any dead bodies? Samson did a LOT of that.) Apparently, though, only the hair thing was pertinent to Samson's strength. George
  16. Bluzecentral is blocked at work. I'm sure someone else will have the answer before I get home. George
  17. You may not recognize the woman in the first picture. She's a comedienne who had her own TV show (briefly). The rest is pretty easy. George
  18. That the reason I won't let you have/do __________ is that I DO love you. I don't care whose parents bought them cars. Earn some money, and get your own. George
  19. I don't get the picture of the control room, but I'll guess "Hotel Rwanda." George
  20. I was about 10 in the mid-60's. I started listening to music on the radio when the Beatles hit in '64. (I developed an affinity for 50's rock and roll much later.) George
  21. I guess it would depend on how old you were when you heard the song! Seems that you're probably about my age. George
  22. Wild guess... "Get Shorty"? George
  23. You got it, Tom. Where have YOU been hiding? George
  24. Performed by whom? Answers are to include title and performer! George
