  1. Okay, here's another while Ca D gets up to speed: George
  2. Kate Smith was well-known for singing GBA, but this sounds more like Judy Garland. George
  3. Nice voice, but TOO SLOW!!! It's our national ANTHEM, not our national DIRGE! (This singer is not the only one whos does it too slow, and she's certainly not the worst.) George
  4. Ca Dreaming got it. DOCTOR + JACQUELINE (Bisset) + MISS + STEROID = Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. You're up, Dreamer! George
  5. CHEEP + PURR + BYE + DOZEN = "Cheaper by the Dozen." Try this one: George
  6. I'm diveded on this. I think any attempt to make Scripture "correct" is abominable; but anything that shows how silly the trinity is is okay in my book! George
  7. I remember this song, but I don't remember this eight-minute version. George
  8. Clever! I'll wait, for now. George
  9. As I recall, David Seville himself recorded all the tracks at slow speed and cranked them up to get the Chipmunks' voices. He then must have overlaid his voice (again) at regular speed. I don't recognize your new song. At least, not yet. George
  10. Just a reminder to Topoftheworld: IT'S YOUR TURN!!!! George
  11. Dreaming, Are you using the little "tree-in-a-box" icon at the top of the reply box? If you just copy and paste the URL into your reply, that's all you'll see (the typed-out URL). If you click on the icon, then paste the URL into the text box (let it overwrite the default URL already there), and then click OK (or Enter), it should post the URL with something like /img] on both sides. That's all you'll see in your reply window, but if you click "Preview Post" (next to "Add Reply"), you'll see how the actual reply will look. If it's as you want it, then click "Add Reply." As an example, here's what happens if you forget to use the icon: http://a1259.g.akamai.net/f/1259/5586/5d/i...-C10101932.jpeg And if you use the icon: Much better! George
  12. Probably because there's no "Flight of the Hornet." I don't know who played the radio version of the theme, but it was Al Hirt on trumpet for the TV show. "Green Hornet" reruns can be seen on the Encore Action Channel occasionally. (It used to be every Friday and Saturday morning, but they don't show it so often now.) George
  13. Come on, Dreamer! Give it a shot! George
  14. It might have been hard if it weren't one of my favorite shows! As well as the title character, it featured "his aide, Kato, and their rolling arsenal, the Black Beauty." George
  15. "Itsy Bitsy, Teenie Weenie, Yellow Polka dot Bikini" (performed) by Brian Hyland. I still want a hula hoop. George
  16. Aww, shucks! I only guess them because Raf adn Tom refuse to! (And what happened to Rhino?) George
  17. If I'm not mistaken, it was a clip from the old "Super-Friends" show, Each week, there would be a short cartoon featuring one of the heroes. (It MIGHT have been from the even older "Superman-Aquaman Hour of Adventure," which also did that, but I don't think that Ted Knight was involved back then.) So, how do I audition for the GL movie? I think I'd be great as Hal Jordan OR Sinestro! George
  18. Cool, Kathy! By the way, did you recognize the narrator? I'm pretty sure it was Ted Knight. George
  19. Ca D, At the bottom left of this page is the page list showing "88 pages" ,with a drop-down arrow next to it. Click the arrow to get a "Jump to page" box. Type in 22 and click go. That will take you right to the 22nd page of this thread. There you will find a couple of entries I made explaining how to get pictures from the internat and post them in a puzzle. (You don't use file attachments, you can use the little "tree" icon above the reply window to add internet pics.) Give it a try! George
  20. I may have heard it in the gym, but it's not on my favorite radio station! George
  21. If you haven't seen it, rent it! It's a hoot! George
  22. Well, Dreaming, you seem to have stumped us on two threads simultaneously! George
  23. I've been known to post some obscure films, but I have no idea what this one is. Ca D, would you let us know what decade this picture appeared? George
  24. Dooj, I don't know if you're kidding, too; but here's a hint: what's Vanessa's LAST name? George
