  1. 20:17 is 8:17 PM, but in England. I remember it being in the afternoon. George
  2. Obvious to anyone who's seen it, of course. To be specific, these were from the cartoon, not the live-action version. Before I hand it off to WW, my favorite Tick quote: "What's the point of science if no one gets hurt?" George
  3. This one has too many to give only one at a time! "Life is a big wild crazy tossed salad, but you don't eat it, no sir! You live it!" "Well, once again my friend, we find that science is a two-headed beast. One head is nice, it gives us aspirin and other modern conveniences. . . but the other head of science is bad! Oh beware the other head of science, it bites!" "Gravity is a harsh mistress." "Villains, I say to you now... knock off all that evil!" George
  4. Not a fan (unless it's a VERY big one!). George
  5. Cocaine, Tom???? Rice, my boy! "Risng Sun" is correct. George
  6. Yes, it was a head gasket. But actually, Lisa was showing a cook at some diner that they stopped at (because their truck blew the gasket while bringing eggs to market) how to make hot cakes. She poured her "recipe" over the whole griddle and cut out the hotcakes with a saucer cover. Oliver pulled the remainding, rubbery solid (with six, evenly-spaced holes) off the griddle, looked at it and said "No. It couldn't! It wouldn't!" Then the announcer said, "But it did." And they were off to market. I'll post a new one later. George
  7. Farm living is the life for me. Green Acres. I remember one episode when Oliver used the residue from around Lisa's hotcakes to make a valve gasket for his car! George
  8. Actually, a lot of people have bit parts that I've missed in movies, so CGJ in Gladiator wasn't out of the question. I does make sense to put a year on a movie title that's been used more than once, to keep us from getting Matthew Broderick...The Producers...Gene Wilder, etc. Aaaanyway.... Lori Petty Tank Girl Malcolm McDowell George
  9. I seem to recall sitting in the living room with my Dad, watching the landing in the afternoon. Wikipedia gives the time of the landing as 20:17 UTC, which, I believe, is 2:17 PM Central. Maybe Sudo's MORNING church service ran into the afternoon? George
  10. Back in 2001, there was a show about the CIA called "The Agency." That's probably what Dooj intended. George
  11. My first guess is "The Perfect Mate" (Next Generation). George
  12. A question for the ages. "What Women Want." George
  13. Well, now that you're here, how about giving us a song line to figure out? As long as it was actually aired (not just an album cut), it's fair game. George
  14. The last two clues make me think "Emergency!"; but I don't see how the first clue would fit. George
  15. Correct. I thought I'd throw in a little C&W. George
  16. "Tank" is correct. Much more entertaining than "Best Defense." George
  17. No, it's not "Best Defense" (a movie I actually did see, however). George
  18. You are correct, Hiway. And, yes, it was the last episode of the original series. George
  19. Well, thank you, could I drink you a buy? Oh, listen to me. What I mean is can I buy you a drink? Anything you please. George
  20. Not bad. I've stumped people on four threads simultaneously! "You do not belong in command of the Enterprise. And I will do everything in my power against you." "Her life could have been as rich as any woman's. If only... if only..." "I've seen the captain feverish, sick, drunk, delirious, terrified, overjoyed, boiling mad. But up to now I have never seen him red-faced with hysteria." George
