Now that I 've actually seen the Harpo clip, I admit I'm impressed. It's a shame that a talent like that was largely overlooked in a clown with a honking horn! Something that other string players might relate to, but the rest of us wouldn't think of, is how hard plucking those strings is on the hands and fingers! My Dad had a friend who was the harpist for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. The man was laid up for about six months after heart surgery (How things have changed) and was disconsolate because he had lost all the calluses he had developed! I think all the dancers in the second clip are pretty hot! None of them are skinny, but they're not chubby, either. You keep posting, Sudo; and I'll try to keep up! George

Okay already. LAWS + TINS + PACE = "Lost in Space." George

I'm running out of quotes, here... "My mobile emmitter seems to have been damaged in transport." "Leave it in Engineering. I'll look at it tomorrow morning." "If you die, it will hurt me." "You will adapt." "Rise and shine, Lieutenant! Early bird gets the gagh!" "This is a ship of exploration." "I am an explorer." "We all are." "We are Borg." "Well, no..." "They will attempt to assimilate you." "THEY WILL FAIL!" "That's called a joke." "Joke. A verbal comment or jesture designed to provoke laughter." "I see you've got your mother's sense of humour." "I'm a doctor. not a peeping Tom." George -
Raf's comment was a clue for those who read the Pictionary threads... George
-
I tend to believe him (this time). I don't know what you're looking for, either. George
-
Have a great one, Strange One! From your pals in the Pictionary threads. George

I haven't recognized a song for the last five pages. George

"That one. The sultry bitch with the fire in her eyes. Bring her to me. Take her clothes off and bring her to me." "I think you'll find this martini full-bodied and satisfying." "What? No Olives?" "We've had to make certain concessions to the war..." George

Another one that could be in the movie or TV thread! George

You are correct, Dooj! George

Sudo, For some unknown reason, the latest "upgrade" of Windows Media Player looks like it's "playing" when it's actually buffering. But instead of starting to play right after it's through buffering, I have to close it and re-open the link to get it to play. I did enjoy "Shuffle Off to Buffalo" ---- eventually! George

Still not what I had in mind for the first pic... George

Hope you change your mind, Doc. You're always welcome in our other "game rooms," too, you know! George
-
You're getting closer. You just haven't got the first clue yet. George
-
Well, gee, Tom, you haven't given us much to complain ABOUT, have you? ;) George

At any rate, "General Hospital" was correct. Dreamer is up! George

I thought Asterix for an asterisk was quite clever! Of course, if I weren't a comic-book afficianado, I would never have gotten it. As for the last pic, I thought "age" even before I figured out the rest of it. Here's one that even Tom should get: George
-
If you know that the repeating cartoon character is Asterix, it all falls into place: M * A (Aayy!) * S (Superman) * H (Age) I'll have to give some thought to a new one. If someone else would like to jump in, feel free. George

I'm sorry you feel that way, Sudo. I haven't posted much lately because a.) I don't have much to say about the Marx Brothers that hasn't been said, and b.) your latest clips open with Windows Media Player, but I don't get sound or picture, just a progress bar moving along the bottom to show me how much has "played." Should I have tried RealPlayer? Normally, your clips that require it open with it, anyway. But it doesn't mean I haven't enjoyed the discussions. George

I LOVE IT!!! If no one else gets it by tomorrow morning, I'll answer. George

No. This one's from memory, so it's a little inexact: "If you die, it will hurt me." "You will adapt." George -

It's not just kids. A few years ago, the CEO of my company delivered a talk on our new quality initiatives. One of his slides read PURSUIT OF EXELLENCE IN EVERY AREA It wasn't easy to avoid pointing out the obvious irony, but I DO still have a job! George
