I have been out of The Way International since 1982. I was raised Catholic. Was taught Jesus Christ IS God.

I just wanted to learn about the Bible when I got involved in 1978, After going thru the "class" over and over.

Thinking and speaking "Way Speak"It was easy to get caught up in it. I wanted to live according to The Word of God

but ended up living according to a group called The Way International.

Some people don't need to hear an explanation others are curious,Now I just am an Advocate against Cults .

got caught in the PFAL class ,now I notice The Way is big on targeting Mexico and Central America .

As I was shoveling snow from this Blizzard of 2010,it reminded me of

Post Cult Life in the early years.

The wind was non stop blowing with snow hitting you in your face like

someone had thrown ice cold water on your face over and over again

making it numb.

Your legs becoming numb as you walk through drifts 4 ft deep. The

numbness of it all reminded me while at the same time

I am bundled up in snow shoes,waterproof ski jackets and hat,but the

inside of the human like a machine repaeting the process

of removing layer upon layer of snow in the long driveway just to

notice as quicky as removed the drifts would reappear!!!!

You become tired quickly,your back from the physical bending and

scooping the weight of the packed overnight snow,and

meanwhile your still getting hit in the face by this force more

powerful than you are physically to move.

In one situation my son in laws car was in the middle of the street

with hazzard light on,in conditions of white out! We both

were shoveling like mad just to get the car in the driveway so it

would not get hit!

A neighbor came out to help us and we finally got enough snow out to

move the little Jetta car in with a Big Push and him

flooring the gas.

Got in the shelter of the warm house thawed and recovered.

Around 6 hours later (after a nap!) I went out to shovel again a path

,it was just as crazy as before and the darkness was approaching

quickly.

My husband got home around 4 hours late from his work in Maryland and

had went off into a ditch ,as did a State Back Hoe!

A good samaritain pulled him out,but the Back Hoe was still stuck.

This moring was the same scenerio getting OUT of the driveway.

This is what I felt like after Cult life. Make you wanna just stay in

the house and be warm,but if you want to live you gotta keep

going,keep shoveling the stuff out to get a clear path,over and over

again,in all seasons of life.

because it was for Freedom that Christ set you Free (Galations 5:1)

The feeling i felt after years of having left The Way was as if my mind was under ice. such as to a victim who ice dives and the oxygen cuts off,like a freak accident,the victim looks for an opening while struggling to survive,and dependeing on the depth of the dive results in whether he will make it to the exit cut in the ice above.

Under ice hypothermia can set in very easily if the conditionals are at the slightest bit altered or tampered with causing the BODY temperature to slow down but still function enough to survive in a coma like state.

In this situation the victim may see the opening exit but,not be able to get their because of hypothernmia.

I say all this top get to the point which is very hard to understand yet explain to one who has never experianced being involved in an alternative religion,cult whatever you may call it.

Now,i know their are books about cults and what they believe but few take you down thru the eyes of one captured,by the bait of TWI the lures and hooks that leave scars deep down in your soul,that only time can heal.

Websters define hypothermia as subnormal body temperature or the ARTIFICIAL REDUCTION OF BODY TEMPERATURE TO SLOW METABOLIC PROCESSES,usualy to assist the progress of HEART SURGERY.

I believe this is a better description of what brainwashing really is in this case.

In 1959 and 60 the US government sent a group of ARMY ENGINEERS to Greenland.

There job was to build a city inside the ICE SHEET.

The city called CAMP CENTURY would serve two purposes.

One was to protect the united states in case of attack,missiles could be hide in the tunnels of the ice.

the other purpose was to gather information about glaciers and about living in extreme cold.

Special plow cut rooms into thick ice.

Tunnels connected groups of rooms.

Corrugaled steel arches lined the ceilings to prevent melting and for support. Soldiers were staioned at Camp Century for several months at a time.

They called themselves ICEWORMS .

After they left. scientist came to study the ice. ,the walls searching for clues about Greenlands past natural history.

Each year,new snow pressed CAMP century about 1 and a half feet DEEPER INTO THE ICE.

The walls also pressed INWARD because ice as thick as greenland ice sheet moves slowly.

,the scientist didn't worry about the ceiling caving in. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM WAS THE ONGOING PROCESS OF DIGGING DEEP DOWN INTO THE CAMP AS NEW SNOW ACCUMMULATED.

Eventually,digging thru the deep snow to reach the camp became difficult.

The camp no longer used has been buried by many feet if ice and has probably collapsed.(end of artical)

As camp century was designed so are ice sculptures,in the heart and minds of a cult victim,not knowing the damage inviolved for the future adult life.

With each new ice sheet digging for victims and rescue of that which is LOST INSIDE GETS MORE DIFFICULT(year after year) WITH windows and drapes shut

...there is really an oasis out here,don't be tricked by the mirage of the direction of dissociation.decomposition and death ,..mimic your desires and your heart will take you there!

This week our town is having an Ice Fest. Its a big thing over here. Ice is set out on main st and then the ice artist comes in with a chainsaw and chisel and goes to work creating beautiful stuff!

The problem is keeping it from MELTING if the weather gets warmer. This is HOW i would explain cult life to someone who never experienced it from the inside.

Children are a gift of from God(assuming the goal was to become a child of God in twi through pfal) and a child becomes an image of what the product is he is trusting.

Carving is a rductive process in which the desired form is reached by removing surplus from a block or similiar mass of material.

Modeling an additive process in which the form is built up in a PLASTIC material.

Constructing or assembly line cookie cutter,joining ready made shapes(twi how many TIMES did you take the class!!!)

Almost any material shaped three diminsional may be used for sculpture,,but ICE is the solid form of water produced by FREEZING IT IS MUCH EASIER TO CUT ON A FROZEN ITEM(the cuts are more accurate and sharp)

Ever heard of the expression i felt as ICE was flowing through my blood.a FROZEN numbness inside................so the more ice produced by freezing the more sculpture to invent..... TIME being the ONLY uncontrolable element in the mind of (child) the child goes within to image building,creativity like a toddler

carefully building blocks,by reflex,by safety precation to BLOCK FEAR.

Although a false oasis for hope,a safety net of some kind,shelter from a storm(in our case we were looking for answers in biblical research/God..peace)

Ice sculpture syndrome is born.

When I first got out I wanted NOTHING to do with any church,put my bible away and there it stayed for years,until I had a child and wanted him to know Jesus. I didn't go to church at first but watched some 700 club shows(secretly)I would turn it off when people would come over,then I started listening to Christian music which I think ministered more to me

than Church sermons at the time.

W. Smith,Chris Eaton(whom I met at a twig in Idaho,I remember that look on his face when he saw all of us wow's there (like we were just NUTS!)but also had that sorrow in his eyes.

Anyhoo! Eventually I tried many churches,choking on a lot of stuff,sitting there in the back row broken,but willing to give it a shot!

Not agreeing with alot of stuff(relearning the bible and who Jesus Christ was as Diety)

Considered going to Carolina Bible College but was too busy with babies. Eventually I found a place a non denominational chuch that didn't look like a church but like a little radio staion building,and my kids went there and we learned together,but knowing the amount of bible I knew(suppose to anyway)the church wanted me to Teach the youth group.(so I did)

I played my music still written in "code WAY" speak and they loved it.

so....I was like healing..we moved soon after and I began going to bible studies on base for Women. A group called PWOC(Protestant Women of The Chapel)which was perfect because there you had all kinds of faith based woemn from differant denominations at the bible studies

I choose to take Precepts Ministries bible studies,starting with the book of JOHN!

The onto Lord(series)it was great REWIRING from The Ways Butchered was of teaching the bible.

Currently I am not into organized religon or any one preacher,I have a wide range of how

I look at things(but the Church did help me!)

I consider myself more of a humanitarian now,that enjoys the symbolism of the Catholic Church,the teachings of Dr. Clarrissa Pinkola Estess and Caroline Myss,but on the same note

I am an Advocate to for Education of Cults(no organization ,nothing to buy or sell)

I just wish Peace in the hearts of people.

I am so thankful for GS and Waydale opening my eyes to the REAL THE WAY INTERNATIONAL. I feel sorry for most of the peons. I was one once. I truly believed that this was the one and only true ministry. I make myself remember what I told my sister when she told me about Martindale. Remember, I had been out of The Way for a number of years. I told her it was a trick of the adversary!!!! My heart goes out to these people who have spent their entire adult lives (some longer) in twi. They were and are tricked just like I was once.
