Very good. Let's keep speculation in one category, and what we've seen and heard in another category. It's important for people to know who "mans" the helm at TWI. That is much different than name-calling. The thread's original title, and the opening post, were little more than the latter.

It's okay to discuss Rivenbark, Bolshevik. Tell us then, is she "gay," or isn't she? And if so, why does it matter to anybody else? The way I see it, being gay, or having "insecurities" are neither harmful nor hypocritical. They don't make you an evil cult leader. If you are an evil cult leader, and gay or insecure, AND you prey on others for being gay or insecure, that's where it gets interesting. That is why Vic Wierwille's sexual orientation and emotional state matter here. His hypocrisy is exposed, his credibility discredited. What did Vic teach about that passage? Anybody remember? Vic was conspicuously preoccupied with homosexuality, yet he persecuted homosexuals, even those suspected, even those accused of it by TWI's army of amateur "thought police." -- Bolshevik, if you don't like "dykes," then start a thread about that, and you can also tie in your dislike of Rivenbark, and the rumors about her... Throw it all in. You'd better know what you're talking about, though. You started a thread tltled "Her Holy Dykeship," as if you had plenty to contribute to the record, yet all you can manage in your initial post is to ask if anybody knows anything. It was SO lame a post, I found myself wondering if it was a setup, as a way to get someone to post remarks so over the top that lawyers get involved. It wouldn't be the first time somebody from TWI masqueraded as a sympathetic ex-wayfer to undermine a site. -- As for the present title, it is an unskilled but sincere attempt to keep a sense of the original while removing offense. Like so much else, it is what it is. The fault is yours, not the moderator's, for providing so little to begin with.

Bolshevik, If by quoting those two posts you believe you've demonstrated some great inconsistency, you haven't. If you'd like to go into it further, I'll be back in about a week.

It's the tragic result of too much pounding the poodle. -- As for Wierwille's animosity toward the poodle, he was probably afraid that Coco reflected poorly on his "manhood." All that posing he did through the years, with Harleys (even while the Twig-hopper looked pretty gay, when you think about it, with VP dolled-up in his sailor suit,) and hunting dogs gives being a "man's man" a double-meaning. Coco frightened Wierwille. And what could a big old man of God have to fear from an itty bitty widdle poodle? Coco had the power to make Victor Paul look gay (as if the sailor outfits didn't). What could be worse that that. I'll tell you. Suppose that Coco had the power to expose Victor Paul's latent inclinations? It's all in Vic's perception, of course, but that's what might make a man like Victor desperate enough to have the poodle wacked. The same kind of anxiety probably led to escalation of homo-purges later on, carried on by another unlikely character, who ostensibly dedicated his life to applying the examples of Broadway, ballet, and the Greek games to the "rise and expansion" of the church. Where did he get this stuff? Answer: out of his own head. Majorly gay, folks. And who is the current president of TWI? No issues there, right?

If you were really being completely candid, I think you'd say you opened it to satisfy your own voyeuristic urges, and not out of any concern for Jonny, or the poodle for that matter. The 3 prior videos may be full of meaning, but reading much into them may reveal more about the reader, than the poster. I am familiar with the first tune having heard it many times while on hold with a Taiwanese manufacturer waiting for technical support. I know, I'm bearing my soul now, but rather than hating it after countless repetitions, I grew to like it more and more - oh, and the lyrics really spoke to me. Anyway, the other two songs were by the same artist. I'd never heard of her before, and always thought the tune was by Enya until last night. I do like Enya, and she does a version of the song, or had something to do with it. I haven't really looked into it. As for the Canadians, I didn't know the last guy was among them. I have been to Canada, but have no plans to apply for citizenship. I like BNL because they're just likable. I generally don't like Cockburn, though he does some good music, in an interesting way.
