Well, tomorrow night, I'm moderating a political fellowsheep with somewhere between six and nine speakers... representatives from campaigns of prez wannabes... bring cheetos.

Well, Tom, ya gotta know when to hold 'em... and the Dbanks got a washed up Robby (spit at the umpires) Alomar.

I dunno, but without Vlad and a couple of his cohorts that have also flown the coup, Frank Robinson has his work cut out for him.

I'm glad Vlad (get it) will be in the AL...

I understand Vlad signed with the Angels, after turning down an offer from the Mets. Further, a local TV news sports guy just said that the Yankees probably felt silly about giving Clemens a "hummer" now that he has signed a one year contract to pitch for the 'stros.

I recall similar impressions as those WG shared. And yes, Don was a doctor of education, more credibly so than his daddy...

btw, the word "Rocky" does not equal "politicizing". I agree the statute of limitations has passed on Oak's "felonious" ways (really not felonious). My concern was more parental than related to political ideology. and panty raids do not necessarily all cross the line, but might. anyway, Oak has grown out of his youth, and done so with dignity and grace such that he is beloved by many... and I appreciate his humor too.

I'm certain you are not the only person who has done something foolish. That's not related to calling attention to the nature of the act you shared with us. I have a daughter. I cannot believe ANY good can come from something like what you did, even though it was obviously fun and no harm was intended.

well, it sounds a lot like breaking and entering, and various potential crimes dealing with people being scared and/or intimidated. We do NOT know that no one suffered any harm whatsoever. We can infer that if there was some, it was dealt with by typical way social pressure to make the victim think said potential harm was her own fault... To me, though the idea of a panty raid has a youthful ring of fun to it, this was WAY out of the range of appropriate behavior, and even if not tangible, and even though at least some of the females thought it was fun also, it was probably a series of crimes. At the very least, one clue given by Oak that it crossed the line into being criminal was that without the approval of one of the victims, said victim was seen nude. Sorry, there are degrees of criminality, degrees of harm, degrees of intent. This one apparently wasn't as obviously harmful as trying to blow up an apple and blinding a man, but it still included intent that crossed the line and results that can reasonably be considered victimization. Should Oak apologize? Well, it's his conscience, so who am I to say what he SHOULD do? But based on his record, I would consider the actions at least somewhat criminal, and most definitely inappropriate.

Daryl, Thanks for sharing and feeling comfortable enough here to do so. Obviously, you have support here. I hope you also have close friends and support in your community. And I share the pain of losing a sibling and grieve with you on losing your sister. My brother died in 1992. And I also am a USAF veteran of the Vietnam Era. Peace, Dude.

Glad you did well... wouldn't get the same sympathy outdoors here today... and you most certainly would be welcome here, even if not at the 7th corpse reonion.

Well, it seems to me that a good, common sense practice is to NEVER respond to any pop-up, email advertisement, or anything else unsolicited. I figure that if a company has to resort to what amounts to clandestine manuvers, it can't be completely above board. I might be wrong, but I can't get taken if that's the approach I maintain.

not to aggrevate the urban sprawl in the metro Phoenix area, but my front door is open right now, and the temp is still in the mid-70s... High today around 77.
