ABBABBABBABBA It's a pattern... slowly... rich... grads

Read the record of the timeline of the acquisition of his "ThD" in TWLIL. If one knows anything at all about the work required and expected of a ThD candidate, one could only deduce that victor's "degree" was the peanut butter and jelly sandwiche of doctorates.

Cherry picking his names in order to bolster his confirmation bias. It’s a bitch-foot, spoiled child maneuver, and it’s transparent.

Who TF is research geek? Who TF cares? Find out for yourself. Learn how (H-O-W) to find out.

I previously reported on the proliferation of degree mills catering to huckster clergymen of mid 20th century America. Here is just one article supporting my reporting. It’s from 1960! https://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/1960/may-9/editorials-scandal-of-bogus-degrees.html Burton College is exposed in the article. Burton = Pikes Peak. One of my favorite sentences in the article: Degrees do not really tell the measure of a man, except perhaps when they are bogus.

How can someone have the time to write a post that is an order of magnitude longer than any T-Bone post (Love ya, Brother T-Bone!) and still claim to not have time to finish Charlene’s book? -

This is the most righteously accurate sentence you’ve ever written. It’s not REALLY righteously accurate, but it’s a HUGE step in the rightly divided direction. -
Is that how God arranged it?

To say or imply or suggest or insinuate that the mother killed that boy is not a subtle form of exaggeration. No matter how (H-O-W) one parses the language, it’s NOT a figure of speech. This bitch-a$$ story of victor’s is abject wickedness and a huge “spiritual liability.” I’d hate to be him on THAT day. -

So much effort to MAKE it fit is your sign that it doesn’t. -

There are some "super" posts on this thread that cause the knees to buckle and the head to explode under the weight of their nonsense and stupidity. So many words, so little said. -

Hyperbole is not a subtle exaggeration. Hyperbole is obvious. That's why it's hyperbole. It's not a device used to weasel one's way out of responsibility and culpability. It's not a cop out. -

Then what's the point of using a figure of speech? Weak communicators, amateurs, neophytes employ hyperbole and then provide the literal. It's cutting the legs out from under the figure of speech - it renders it useless and ineffectual. It's pointless. It's awkward. It can only elicit embarrassment from the reader. It's cringe. It's analogous to a comedian explaining the joke, or a magician explaining the card trick. If it must be explained, it's a bad joke, a bad trick. -

I call. Collaterals are not God-breathed. That is established. To assert otherwise is to burden oneself with "spiritual liabilities" that are very difficult to remove. -
Isn't interpretation subjective? Who decides when Christ is inconsistent or consistent with his Word? Though the opinionated claim has been asserted, the Word/Bible/scripture does NOT interpret itself.

Could we say more clearly, simply: The writer/author/storyteller limits God to fit into the plot of the story.
