"I have no friends when it comes to the word." (Something like that.) Isolation, insulation, paranoia, devil spurts everywhere, empties, controlled information flow... Isolate to develop codependency. Typical NPD strategy.

Will someone please translate or interpret $dang for me? (According to usage, literally, please.)

The subtle difference between bull$hit and deception.

In my experience they promised relief for a condition that was NOT present, an imagined condition projected on the targets of their proselytizing. When I first encountered all of this madness, my life was full of joy, peace, wonder, prosperity, healings..."manifestations" that can't be counterfeited. But they persisted with the relentless, if subtle, claim that I was lacking something, that I was incomplete without taking "the class," incomplete without "having" their contrived truth, that I was without REAL "power" until I heard and revered what "the doctor" had to say, that so much was "available" for me, but I was leaving it on the table "untapped." Tell someone enough times they are missing something BIG, they will start to believe it, in spite of the evidence against the claim. This is called gaslighting. Gaslighting is the most wicked abuse.

"Homework" and "glove fitting" -- there are folders for those.
-
Everyone has their own tab, including you, OS. The folder is almost three inches thick. One day, when I have time, when I'm not so overwhelmed, I'll transpose all the questions to 3x5 cards and file them in a special file box. It's a cross between a lock box and a bookcase. It's a dandy... nay, it's a REAL dandy. All this filing and foldering takes time. Time I just don't have. And then there's the reading. I'm reading slowly. It's gentle and tremendous and absorbent -- it slowly absorbs time, gently.
-
I'll add these questions to the folder I started to track all unanswered questions.

One of my favorite verses. Before I divorced my wife, before I realized she was a sociopath/narcissist, I sent her this verse in a text. It was one of many attempts to extricate her from the manipulation of the wierwillian "fellowship" and save our marriage. She hated that verse. HATED it. I suspect she had it crossed out of her Bible. She was obedient.

Is The Word of God The Will of God?
Nathan_Jr replied to Bolshevik's topic in Doctrinal: Exploring the Bible
I keep seeing this come up. “Body count” is what they call it, I think. Kids these days… -
Perhaps ambiguity, paradox, mystery point to that for which verbiage is insufficient. Only a clear mind free from conditioning can contemplate them. And in the contemplation one might see beyond the image constructed by thought.

When you say "The Word" I assume you mean the Bible. In TWI the Bible is whatever victor paul wierwille says it is. It takes the place of awareness of what actually is, including self awareness. It takes the place of clear perception by replacing it with an opaque lens. Christ, it seems to me, is the true nature of man. And that true nature is divine. Jesus embodied this nature. "I and the Father are one." One can't find this out by taking a class.

Agreed.

I think there was a bookcase or a cloak or something that contained the list of texts to canonize... maybe even a folder with a rough draft. There's good reason why vpw was afraid to talk about canon. There's a thread on this topic. It has a circular shape.

Nothing, unless you beleeve it does. Kinda like what happens behind the closed doors of a motor coach. It only matters if you beleeve it does. This was handled in the AC Q&A session. Anyway, I've got a folder full of 3x5 cards on the subject. When I have time, which I don't right now because I'm typing this reply, I'll compile the notes and write a rough draft. Of course, that will require time - something I just don't have.

I’m sure you already know this, but Bishop Pillai shouldn’t be considered a final authority on the historical-cultural idiosyncrasies of the ancient Near East.

So many problems here. I don’t know if I have time right now to address them all -- I’m covered up with filling folders with unanswered questions. Again, the fetshizing of teaching!! It’s like the aspiring journalist who so desperately wants to write cinema and restaurant reviews because they have love going out to eat and to the movies. Loving these pastimes does not a critic make. victor was not apt (skilled) to teach. A teacher who is apt does not hate questions. victor HATED questions. It seems Mike learned his evasion tactics from victor, as did my FC. -
So, the crucifixion pays for “old man” sins and the daysman makes a plea for “new man” sins? But why do we need a daysman to make a plea deal when, if we act in the love of God, we can do as we fool well please?
-
Ekklesia doesn't mean "called out" just as butterfly doesn't mean:
-
Mike: "Then there was the Rock of Ages 1972 movie, and VPW gently taught the little boy that Jesus was inside." I have mentioned this a few times. victor told that little boy Jesus was NOT up there but inside that little boy's chest. If only we could find that little boy, who is all growns up, we could meet him at Starbucks and have a coffee with Jesus. That little boy is all growns up now... with Jesus inside, not absent, not up there, but inside that little boy, who is all growns up now.
-
Why does the absent daysman need to plea a case when the case was already settled - bought and paid for?
-
Not an answer, but a cop out. I'm not surprised. That's what imitating victor does for you. The irony. Victor paul wierwille hated cop outs almost as much as he hated the truth. No need to convert image to text. Just post the original scanned image. I still wish I could read it in the original.
-
So, the Bible takes the place of the absent daysman.
-
Wow… …profound… radical… so accurate.., so… divided, rightly… …just.. mmmph
-
Why? What was wrong with it? What changes did you make? I wish I could read it in the original.
