  1. Good editing by Mike. Yes, I often edit what I type. Similar to the editing by Mike. Only a few words typed by me (Mark) now.
  2. Obviously, at least to people like me or Mark and other people. We are not in the new heaven and earth as read in Revelation chapter 21. In the new heaven and earth, people will not experience pain and sorrow, like people sometimes have in this age or period of time. Revelation chapter 21 follows the judgement at the end of chapter 20, which you quoted from. When I typed "I do not think we have already had this with me sometimes experiencing pain with my physical body". I was referring to humanity is not in the new heaven and earth, where there will be no pain and sorrow like humanity sometimes has in the age or period of time. Have a good day in believing what ever you want to believe.
  3. At least cman does NOT believe in eternal torment with me agreeing with him on this. It looks like cman quoted from the New International Version Revelation 20:11-15. The next verses in the book of Revelation show a new heaven and a new earth from chapter 21:1-4. 21 Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”[a] for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” (New International Version) I do not think we have already had this with me sometimes experiencing pain with my physical body.
  4. Because I read from the bible and have a brain and even know where my brain is. I believe my brain is inside my head, while even knowing where my head is. With help of 2 hands connected to 2 arms. In doing a Google search, this website says the majority of U.S. adults say they believe in heaven and hell. https://www.pewresearch.org/religion/2021/11/23/views-on-the-afterlife/ Hell among Christians is often believed to be eternal punishment or torment. I instead see from reading the bible with the help of a very good biblical study software program that the word hell should be translated the grave or the place of the dead. I do not think that followers of Jesus Christ should believe that people who did not believe in Jesus Christ with death will go immediately to hell with eternal torment. Instead I believe in a future resurrection of judgement as written in Revelation 20:11-15.
  5. Regarding what Wierwille actually taught. I agreed with him when he taught from the actual bible, but I did NOT agree with him when he did NOT. For example, as I was leaving TWI or soon after, I even wrote a teaching which I handed out to people with the title, "Lordship of Jesus Christ Contrasting the Lordship of Imperfect Man". That is one of the chapters of my recent biblical teaching book with some editing of this chapter as I learned more. As an example, that I did NOT agree with him on this subject. I heard him teach from a video as I was driving my car. He agreed with the Roman Catholic church that the Pope was the vicar of Christ. Yes, the Pope and Wierwille could be the head of a corporation, but NOT the spiritual head of the body of Christ.
  6. Interesting the words, “thy seed” as it relates to the serpent or devil. With the King James Version, this is Genesis 3:15. 15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. (KJV) The word “enmity” in Genesis 3:15 shows the opposite of the devil being able to get people born of the devil or the seed of the serpent. The definition of “enmity” is being actively opposed or hostile. Since I do not have the time to write a commentary on Genesis 3:15, I will copy a commentary using my very good biblical study software program.
  7. Regarding what I see as scripturally errant that the devil has the ability to have people born of the seed of the devil, like the heavenly Father God has the ability to have followers of Jesus Christ to be born of the Holy Spirit with what can be called a new birth. Yes, the devil with demons can possess people when they are deceived enough. However, when they see God’s love and Jesus Christ in a favorable way instead of being deceived with steal, kill and destroy or turn crazy. They could change. People can change like the Apostle Paul changed from being a hateful Pharisee to being the best teacher of the New Testament. The demons were not created through Satan or the devil. Instead they were created by God as angels with them changing while wanting authority even above God, the creator. This is obviously a bad attitude. Using my very good biblical study software program there is no verse in the book of Genesis at least in the New King James Version that has the word serpent in the same verse as the word seed. There is no phrase in any version of the bible at least that I have the time to research that has the phrase “seed of the serpent”. Perhaps the only way TWI could see this is if they did their own biblical version. Regarding the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit in Mathew chapter 12, Jesus was speaking to hateful Pharisees that opposed Jesus Christ. The Pharisees instead of being service oriented like Jesus Christ was and is, instead they wanted authority and rulership in their religion. When Jesus Christ was helpful while healing people and even casting out a demon from a man that was blind and mute without the ability to see and speak. The Pharisees accused Jesus Christ of casting out a demon with Beelzebub who the Pharisees religiously saw as the chief ruler of the demons. Jesus Christ corrected their stupid belief while explaining to the Pharisees that the demons would only be divided or against the devil or demons if they did this, while being in opposition to themselves. Then Jesus Christ forgave them for opposing himself, Jesus Christ. However, opposing the Holy Spirit would not be forgiven because to have eternal life in the future, humanity needs a new spiritual body instead of only a physical body with its decay while our physical bodies are not eternal.
  8. Doing some research with the help of my very good biblical study software program. There is only one verse in the bible that has the phrase "father the devil". It is John 8:44.
  9. In listening to Craig Martindale’s Youtube Christian teaching, I see this as above average compared to other teachings by other people. For example, he does not believe in the most errant teaching today and in other years that people do not really die instead most people go to hell for eternal torment with only a few people, perhaps because they were part of their denomination, going to heaven to be with God. Instead like Victor Wierwille he believes in death and then two future resurrections of the dead. The first for followers of Jesus Christ or those in Christ, then the second as written in Revelation 20:11-15, which I view as a resurrection of judgement for people who were not followers of Jesus Christ in their lives. I now see that some or perhaps even most of the people will be judged favorably and be written in the book of life. One doctrine that I do not agree with and never agreed with even while I was with the Way Ministry. I never believed that people could be born of the seed of the devil and have the devil’s spiritual seed always in them. Which verses do they think shows this?
  10. I just now remembered and saw that Charity posted links to that educational web site, Bible Hub on April 7th. Very good. Grade of "A", but God could give that web site a grade of "A+".
  11. Amazing T-Bone! You found a web site that has much biblical study research. Even the Interlinear Bible with original Koine Greek words for the New Testament. For my biblical study research. I use a software program which I have on my 3 current primary computers, which has the same research and more. This program is called Biblesoft. https://biblesoft.com/
  12. Regarding the question, are the dead alive now? Mortal physical humanity dies or passes away. Just like physical animals die. A number of readable scriptures show that. However, regarding the gift of Holy Spirit which followers of Jesus Christ receive as a connection with God. The Holy Spirit does not die because it is simply spiritual from God, our heavenly Father. When followers of Christ die, the gift of Holy Spirit can go back to God the giver. What God uses it for is simply up to God. Our adopted heavenly Father can use this with the future coming of Christ when Christ's followers get a new spiritual body as explained in 1st Corinthians 15 and 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. The Comfort of Christ's Coming 13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. 15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words. (NKJV) 1 Corinthians 15:42-44 42 So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; 43 it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; 44 it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. (NIV)
  13. Calling Jesus Christ a loving psychiatrist is figurative and not literal. Jesus Christ wanted to help the persons emotions before he died or passed away. Jesus Christ was and is very helpful for humanity even when or before he experienced much pain while perhaps being nailed to a cross and experiencing death. The cross needed to be attached to a tree otherwise it would have fallen.
  14. Simply, Jesus Christ in Luke 23:43 was acting as a loving psychiatrist for that person that day. This is one of the examples that Jesus Christ wanted to be helpful with all of humanity as long as they changed from bad to good. In using my biblical software program the Greek word for paradise is used 3 times in the New Testament. The Greek word for heaven is used 273 times in the New Testament.
  15. T-Bone: You type like a humor GENIUS. Congratulations for being a humor genius.
  16. Certainly we at least know who are our spiritual Head is. He is currently seated at the right hand of God, his Father by birth and resurrection from the dead. Jesus Christ! Just like I needed to edit my biblical teaching book. I need to edit my posts on Grease Spot Cafe. My goal is to be 100% truthful, but at least 99%.
  17. WOW T-Bone. You sound like a genius. Amazing! Maybe we even know where are physical heads are. With the help of two hands and arms. Certainly we at least know who are spiritual Head is. He is currently seated at the right hand of God, his Father by birth. Jesus Christ!
  18. Interesting Exidor and this parable is explained in one of the chapters of the biblical teaching book, "Our Loving Savior Jesus Christ". The chapter is named "The Mythology of Hell That Contradicts Scriptures". The following is the copyright information from the quoted book. I wonder who that author is?? While posting on Grease Spot Cafe, I could instead be called Marky Spaghetti and could or would even consider being called that a compliment. Author: Mark Sanguinetti Primary Graphic Artist: Julian Kernes Publisher: Puros Christian Reconciliation First Edition © 2021 All rights reserved: Printed in the United States of America
  19. I wonder do you want people to think that you are doing your own biblical version? Or writing your own epistle to Grease Spot Cafe? As the author of a biblical teaching book, I always was safe and secure to state the source of what I was quoting from. I even sent two copies to the US government for full copy right purposes and received a letter in the mail that I have full copy right to my biblical teaching book. However, maybe that is not important for me to type this, because I do NOT have a special religious title, for example Reverend.
  20. Thank you for helping me laugh T-Bone and that is NOT Mark Sanguinetti, the workaholic. I prefer eating healthy food so that I can live longer in my earthly life. I especially now do NOT want my stomach to growl and bark. I instead want him to wag his tail.
  21. That is good CMAN, but when you quote from scriptures, please type or copy the scriptures that you are quoting from. I always do that so that people can double check the source of my information. In his recent post it looks like CMAN was quoting from Romans 6:3-11 from the King James Version and then Colossians 2:12 also from the KJV.
  22. Obviously comparing sleep to death is NOT literal, and instead is a figure of speech or a metaphor. However, since I do not have a special religious title, for example Reverend, I can often be ignored. Therefore, on this subject of sleep, I will simply again copy from the Nelson Bible Dictionary. Yes, I often learn from the Nelson Illustrated Bible Dictionary. This includes speeding up my biblical study research. I hope others learn also. SLEEP A natural period of rest during which consciousness is suspended. In the Bible, sleep is a common metaphor for death. In 1 and 2 Kings, especially, the phrase, "he rested (slept, KJV) with his fathers," occurs many times (1 Kings 2:10; 11:43). The Christian dead "sleep in Jesus" (1 Thessalonians 4:14). Sleep also can symbolize physical laziness, which brings poverty (Proverbs 6:9-11). In the New Testament sleep often suggests spiritual or moral laziness (1 Thessalonians 5:6). On the other hand, sleep can be a symbol of living in safety (Ezekiel 34:25). God gives sleep to the righteous and to the hard worker (Psalms 4:8; Ecclesiastes 5:12). (from Nelson's Illustrated Bible Dictionary, Copyright © 1986, Thomas Nelson Publishers) As an example of figurative and not literal. Before I sleep at night I always pray to God now that I can get at least 6 hours of sleeping WORK, but I prefer 7 hours of sleeping work. Because I sometimes have acid reflex in my stomach. I figuratively compare my stomach to a dog and pray to God that my stomach wags his tail instead of growl or bark. Especially when I lie down to do my sleeping work. In addition, because I consider my self a workaholic and not an alcoholic. This is why I consider sleep part of my work day. I use figurative and not literal statements much.
  23. With regard to the biblical subject of the second coming of Christ. The following has some information from the Nelson Bible Dictionary. SECOND COMING Christ's future return to the earth at the end of the present age. Although the Bible explicitly speaks of Christ's appearance as a "second time," the phrase "second coming" occurs nowhere in the New Testament. Many passages, however, speak of His return. In fact, in the New Testament alone it is referred to over 300 times. The night before His crucifixion, Jesus told His apostles that He would return (John 14:3). When Jesus ascended into heaven, two angels appeared to His followers, saying that He would return in the same manner as they had seen Him go (Acts 1:11). The New Testament is filled with expectancy of His coming, even as Christians should be today. Various opinions exist about what is meant by the Second Coming. Some regard it as the coming of the Holy Spirit on the day of PENTECOST. Others regard it as the coming of Christ into the heart at conversion. Christ's coming for the believer at the time of death is still another view. Careful examination of the New Testament, however, makes it clear that the Second Coming will be a climactic historical event. The Lord will return in the same manner in which He left. His coming will be personal, bodily, and visible. The time of the Second Coming is unknown. In fact, Jesus stated that only the Father knew the time. Therefore, the return of the Lord should be a matter of constant expectancy. As He came the first time, in the "fullness of time" (Galatians 4:4), so will the Second Coming be. The believer's task is not to try to determine the time of the Second Coming. We should share the gospel message diligently until He returns (Acts 1:8-11). (from Nelson's Illustrated Bible Dictionary, Copyright © 1986, Thomas Nelson Publishers) Acts 1:6-11 6 So when they met together, they asked him, "Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?" 7 He said to them: "It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." 9 After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. 10 They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. 11 "Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven." (NIV) 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 The Comfort of Christ's Coming 13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. (NKJV)
  24. If humanity does not really die or die for a short time, perhaps 1 or 2 seconds. Then why do followers of Jesus Christ need Christ to return?? With the dead in Christ only being raised from the dead when Jesus Christ returns before the 1000 year period, shows that humanity needs Jesus Christ. Also after the 1,000 year period the devil and the demons will get placed in prison. Then there will be a second resurrection of judgement with Jesus Christ part of the judgement when working with God his Father. This also shows that humanity needs Jesus Christ to have eternal life and NOT Satan the god of this age and world now. This can be read in Revelation chapter 20. Revelation 20:11-15 The Great White Throne Judgment 11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. (NKJV) In addition, it has the Book of Life with humanity being judged more favorably than others who will be placed into the lake of fire. As worded with the figurative “book of life”, some or perhaps even a majority who will be judged as read in Revelation 20:15 may be “found written in the book of life” (KJV). Then they will not need to be “cast into the lake of fire” and may be able to enter the gates in the new heaven and earth. Chapter 21 has information on the new heaven and earth. Revelation 21:25-27 25 On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. 26 The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. 27 Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life. (NIV) This Christian ministry in Texas has information about this controversial subject. https://lifehopeandtruth.com/life/life-after-death/what-is-heaven/go-to-heaven/
  25. Regarding the topic of death as physical and spiritual. The following is from the Nelson Bible Dictionary and NOT VPW. DEATH A term which, when applied to the lower orders of living things such as plants and animals, means the end of life. With reference to human beings, however, death is not the end of life. The Bible teaches that man is more than a physical creature; he is also a spiritual being. For man, therefore, physical death does not mean the end of existence but the end of life as we know it and the transition to another dimension in which our conscious existence continues. The Bible speaks of death in a threefold way: physical, spiritual, and eternal. The first physical death of a human being recorded in the Bible is that of Abel, who was murdered by his brother Cain (Genesis 4:8). However, death itself, in both the physical and spiritual sense, is first mentioned by God Himself (Genesis 2:17). In the Genesis account of the FALL both physical and spiritual death come as a result of sin (Romans 5:12-21). Various attitudes toward death are expressed in the Bible, from dread to anticipation. The ancient Hebrews regarded death as entrance into SHEOL, where they were cut off from everything dear in life, including God and loved ones. But God revealed to the psalmist that the Redeemer God is both in heaven and in Sheol (Psalms 139:7-8), and He is able to bring a person out of Sheol ("the grave"; 1 Samuel 2:6). Because "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23), all men are spiritually dead-separated from God who is the Source of spiritual life. Sin makes a person hate the light and despise the truth; it causes one to break God's laws and to become insensitive to holy things. Everyone who has not been redeemed by Christ is spiritually dead (Luke 15:32; Ephesians 2:1-3; Colossians 2:13).
