  1. quote:
The view of Christ CES pushes is that he was a "unique human being," and not the unique Son of God.

Baloney, but please hold the mayo. Even Wierwille stressed that Jesus was the Son of God. One of the first chapters of his book is nothing but scripture references, over 50, pertaining to Jesus being the Son of God. I no longer have a copy of Wierwille's book, because I think that the CES book, "One God and One Lord", is better so please don't ask me to quote from it.

However, I do disagree with CES's spin on Administrations. I was going to write the 3 CES leaders telling my views. However, I got side tracked with other projects. Maybe at a later time. In short, the much more scriputural teachings of covenants between God and man much more adequately explains the changing relationship between God and man and its effect on histories time periods. This also glorifies God more which is another problem with the CES administrations teaching which sometimes does not. Even picking up your bible and seeing Old Testament (Covenant) and New Testament (Covenant) tells us that this is far more pertanent than CES's ideas on administrations.

  2. Chuck, I defended you on another thread from what I felt was a personal attack. I want to be honest with you though. You sound irrational at this time. I hope whatever it is that is troubling you can get resolved in your mind and that you can gain some peace. My prayers are with you and I am very sorry to hear about the hardships that you have faced lately.

  3. Zixar, you threw the first stone on this thread. You called Chuck a liar and a baby. Excathedra already told you clearly what you did. So why didn't you get the message the first time? Arguments just seem to follow you where ever you go. I think you like it. The problem is that when someone fights fire with fire with you, you usually whine like a school boy and go running to Paw for stricter rules. So now you have found someone, Chuck, that does not write well and that you can bully on this forum. Well Zixar, enjoy it while you can.

  4. Zixar, you found a post that you disagreed with politically. A post that did not mention your name or your own differing political views. Then you proceeded to insult the writer of that post. Yes, I know the post was scattered in thought. It may have not been a very good post at that. However, what was your point in insulting the person that wrote it?

Your last post addressed to me was pure rationalization. I am glad that Long Gone is trying to work with you. I only hope you will listen to his counsel.

  5. Mary Cate you are a riot girl. Gonna miss your posts. Actually Grease Spot needs someone with spunk and a sense of humor to match like you have shown the last few days.

  6. Pretty sly Jessica. You got that one through the sensors. I won't rat on yea though. Hey, I saw a little bit of Spiderman the other night. I thought it was pretty good. Sort of a cross between Superman, Batman and Revenge of the Nerds. I will have to watch more of it, but it was late at night and I had to go to bed.

    Be good now.

    Love,

    Uncle Mark

  7. Searcher, Tea is a much better drink than coffee. It not only is better for you, but it also tastes better. How do you like your tea? Perhaps with lemon and sugar. This may not be very English, but I like my tea iced and with lemon and sugar.

    Thanks for posting.

  8. Searcher:

You sound like a good poster. I must tell you that there are food fights in this place all the time. I think it is because of the oppressive religious background that many of the posters come from. Now people have their freedom and are afraid to lose it. To be blunt this fear sometimes makes people stupid while showing extremely poor judgement as to who the oppressors really are and who the deliverer is. I have tried to explain this in a teaching that I did, but people are sometimes very slow to get the message.

Anyway I hope you decide to keep posting. Sorry again for the food fights. They are definitely not your fault, but to be honest people need a strong stomach in this place. Here is a link to my teaching on Jesus Christ's Lordship.

    Peace, brother.

  9. Yes, I remember the agostic threads of Grease Spot Cafe. They went on and on and on. They made the thread that Refiner started look Very Tame in comparison. The fact that there was an uproar over this showed a real lack of patience and other spiritual fruit from a few of those who express their Christian faith here.

  10. Zixar, I am sure that Paw or one of the other moderators will look at the posts in question. I am sure they will be very fair and unbiased. However, when they reach a decision on them and if it is not favorable with your point of view, then you need accept their decision just like if it was favorable with your point of view.

Other than that, if you want a better Grease Spot Cafe start making better posts. Why don't you start an astronomy thread? If you do I will participate.

  11. People seem to me to be overly worried about so called Grease Spot outsiders suddenly coming here and some how not upholding to Christian teachings about Jesus Christ. Below is a link to a teaching that I have shared with some of the Grease Spot posters.

For your information Refiner read this article and said he really liked it. Thought it was excellent. People need to understand that there are people, such as Refiner, who don't disagree with the spirit of Jesus Christ. Rather they disagree with the fundamentalist views of many of todays Christian leaders. Frankly, I agree with this assessment. In fact, like Refiner, I too do not agree with many of the so called fundamentalist views of scripture. Some are even based on down right ignorance of what the bible actually teaches about Jesus Christ. My main point of contention with them is that they seem to have lost the spirit of the teachings and replaced this with a brand of legalism. Furthermore, like in TWI, they seem to think they have a superior knowledge of the scriptures compared to others. Such ignorance should be rather obvious as the bible teaches repeatedly that only the meek will know and understand the spiritual things of God.

  12. Searcher, I am sure that it is nothing that you wrote. Frankly, a few of the posters here can be somewhat antagonistic, especially when it comes to their politics. Most are pretty good though and are quite helpful. Stop by anytime. You sound like a good hearted person.

    Peace!

  13. I don't really know Anthony, but he did buy some of my Sunday Night Service tapes. He was looking for certain ones that he did not already have. I had some of these so I sold them to him. I am not complaining. These tapes, although in good shape, were just collecting dust. I was happy to sell them to him.

  14. Below is a link to an article that I wrote. It definitely relates to the title of this thread. Enjoy!
