Eyes would you co-aurthor Lead Christmas 1980? The short story is the Corps coordinators were suppose to go Lead during HoHo. They took a van from HQ Bob was driving when motor blew up. They slept in chalet every night. And when they couldn't get home from N.M. with no van they flew back. VP blew a gasket. Of course they ate good and showered every day. Who do you think would write there evaluation? Like that would be job suicide. Lead staff was suppose to come back to HQ by hitching. Yes they were late. Randy g was to be made to look like a fool. Public humiliation to the max. He would of felt better if it was a hanging. Living at HQ you saw way to much dirty laundry. I guess they taught I or we would forget and when someone else did the same thing they did it wasn't ok. I personally LOVED lead. I was raised in the out doors. it was a way of life as a kid. Second nature. To see the things of the desert southwest. But to see what they did to my brothers and sisters. Sin would be a nice word. And to write an evaluation on someone lack.

That whole Lead thing and all the Corps program had nothing to do about teaching people how to believe God. Going there from the Family Corps we had older women over 60 trying to climb. We had one single mom in her mid 30s who was a very heavy girl. She was trying to do the impossible. All it did for her is make her feel bad and made her a failure at one more thing. We had Several couples and teams get stranded on the road. One very popular retired couple (many children in the program) get stranded on the road in the dead of the winter for almost 2 weeks. Was it about believing God? I guess I'm a jerk because I took plenty of money with me. We would get to a truck stop i would tell my wife to sit here for a while I would be back. Go around the corner pull out the money and say look what i found or look that guy just gave us breakfast money.

Oldies let me break it to you everything that vee pee did was self serving. He was not God he was not Jesus Christ he wasn't even a DR. He was a scam a lier and a thief. Why would in Gods good name I would think anything he taught would be true? And you never being married and never being faced with real life issues in this subject How can you tell me what is it like to know what a life changing choice would be like? I have had to make some hard ones in this area. When you lay a baby to its final resting place maybe you might get a hint a faint light of what a decision like this is all about. When you have shed a million tears and have seen the dark night of the soul then maybe you might look at things a little different.

For me many of these Treads tie together. Yes I learned some things from TWI. BUT I have to check if they were even close to being TRUE. No I do not think VP was a man of God. Yes he was lots of other things but not that. Not even a Dr. Being young and unlearned I do believe I was lead down the wrong path in my understanding of Gods goodness. In him is no darkness at all. And with great discussions like this we could understand better who and why. What Corps night could of been like to have open discussion To come to the greatness of what God is all about.

I Chronicles 21:1-7 Show how David Was not a one time affair. David was a man and was flawed just like ever other human. He sinned just like everyone else. Why all the peace offerings at the alter. Maybe all those sins had something to do with it.

II Samuel 13

Lonely as far as the rape thing and David it's in there and David was suppose to kill him. i guess we just call that a mistake right. We wouldn't call it a sin. Sure VP was without sin it was just rape.

Lonely If you would just read a little you might understand a little. I know what that verse says. If you would just read some of that old testement you might be enlightened. David did sin more than that. He counted the people and the result of that was a big old famine. Because he sinned. At the end of the gospels it says something to the effect that if you would record every thing that Jesus did it would take all the books in the world. And the same with Davids life he took bunches of wives and did a lot more than is recorded. The books only give some of his life. Their must be something wrong with that verse because it did not show he sinned at all. If you would read and ask God to open your eyes you might be a changed man. Than verse does not show that he sinned at all. I guess he didn't need for JC to come he worked it all out. Only one without sin.

Johnian I'm sorry if you misunderstood my point. I did not call you stupid. The subject matter at hand is what i was talking about. I will let you own words stand for who you are. You and I will stand one day and both have to see the fire burn them up or the will pass the test. VP made his bed he can't change a thing. I can still ask God to look over my stupidity and forgive me. But I believe my bible says to warn others. It also says you will know them by their fruit. Lot of flies around whats up with that.
