One episode had a thankful Greek platoon give a lamb to the 4077 to make for lunch. Radar was determined to get the thing to safety rather than be served for lunch. So he tricked Henry Blake into signing it's emergency hardship discharge papers. "Death in the family?" "Almost..." Radar shipped Private Charles Lamb to his family's farm in Iowa. (" You remember him- short, curly-haired guy." ) Attempts to get an incubator to speed up diagnoses- and save lives- took up an entire episode. The continual attempts for one bomber to hit ANYTHING in the camp- trying to hit the ammo dump- every 5pm provoked a round of betting on today's target for " 5 o clock Charlie." The food supply consisting of either liver or fish every single day eventually provoked Hawkeye into a major commotion in the Mess tent. Radar got hungry when the entire camp was pinned down by a sniper. He risked his life for the chance to make and eat a sandwich. Frank Burns once claimed he got those thank-you notes. Hawkeye once ordered that drink when their Officers Club was brand new. Hawkeye also tried to cheat at cards by telling an odd story that included his entire hand. Major Sidney Freedman-twice- said the silly rhyme about sliding on the ice when he left the camp. George's turn!

I think the title is "Maggie May". It's a Rod Stewart song. -
That's it.

"This is gonna replace CD's soon; guess I'll have to buy The White Album again." "You see this? Huh?! N-Y-P-D! Means I will kNock Your Punkass Down!" "You here to make fun of me too? " No, ma'am. We at the FBI do not have a sense of humor we're aware of. May we come in?¨ "Sure." "Did he say anything to you?¨ "Yeah, that the world is coming to an end." "Did he say when?" "So what do you think?¨ "Whew! Very interesting. She got a whole 'Queen of the Undead' thing going on...¨ "What about the body?¨ "Great body...´¨ "The dead body."

PIANO MAN. Billy Joel says he no longer enters piano bars because the piano player will start playing this song if he sees him. Since this song was about Billy's time as a piano player in a piano bar, there's a certain irony to that. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ok, next song. ¨Sitting on a park bench, eyeing little girls with bad intent.¨ -

"In the meantime, be on the lookout for a male Caucasian lamb. He is unarmed, and considered to be delicious." "You have a fever of 109 stroke 10, you can't have an incubator but you can have a pizza to go, unless of course you go first." "Attention. Attention. One minute to Charlie. The betting book is now closed." "I'd like a dry martini, Mr. Quoc, a very dry martini. A very dry, arid, barren, desiccated, veritable dustbowl of a martini. I want a martini that could be declared a disaster area. Mix me just such a martini." "I've gotten "Thank you" notes from people I said I'd never see again." "I've eaten a river of liver and an ocean of fish! I've eaten so much fish, I'm ready to grow gills! I've eaten so much liver, I can only make love if I'm smothered in bacon and onions!" "I'm reminded of a story, you've probably heard it. The king and queen of this country were playing golf with five clubs. Their son Jack remarked how strange it was that they only had two hearts between them. And just then his sister Little Deucey and her dog Tre started singing 'Four Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend,' whereupon the whole family beat her to death and buried her with two spades." "Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice, pull down your pants and slide on the ice." "I have this peculiar metabolism. If I don't eat regularly, everything solid in my body turns to liquid. My shoes are full of water."

I had the right show in mind, I just didn't remember its name. I remembered the thrill of victory, the agony of defeat, and the face-planting skier, and that's about it, but ¨Spanning the globe¨ helped trigger the right memory.

¨When I was younger, so much younger than today¨ -
........ Ah! ¨ABC WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS¨! Complete with the thrill of victory....and the agony of defeat. I suppose Vinko Bogotai was the skier who face-planted in the opening.

I´m heating JANIS JOPLIN in my head. Is this ¨ME AND BOBBY MCGEE¨? -
That exchange was between ¨KING RALPH¨ and his counterpart, the monarch of Zambesi. Zambesi was planning on building an auto manufacturing plant.

If I couldn´t hear the actor saying the last line, this probably would be an incredibly difficult round. This movie will probably never win any awards, but I liked it. I´ve also mused, privately, that the title character wasn´t half as interesting in the title role as if, say, I myself was in the title role as myself.

I{ve heard the name ¨Gus Grissom¨ before. Is this JERRY ORBACH?

I'm sure I've heard it before, but nothing is coming to mind despite that. -

This thread was started by someone who has a lot of first-hand, inside information about who VF is and how VF is when the cameras are off. I'm rather slow to judge how accurate anyone is based on how cool their internet presence looks. I remember an organization (non religioua) that looked incredibly well organized- judging from their paperwork, mailing list, etc. They were a mess, which anyone knew who dealt with them DIRECTLY. This website contains people who run the gamut from "Shame on you for saying vpw drugged and raped those women, and God told him to plagiarize" to "I'm just who I was before, minus the organization but with the same beliefs" through "I'm a Christian but not endorsing twi or extwi" and "now I'm a practicing Jew/Muslim/Wiccan" to "I've renounced all religions and finally embraced the truth that they're all delusions because there is no god." You won't find TOO many people here representing the first 2 positions so much, since they prefer to go off and hang out with each other. (For that matter, most GSC posters have moved on with their lives, with both twi and the GSC as distant lights in the rear-view mirror- which, to me, is a good thing.) I'll say I'm still a Christian, but I hesitate to embrace terms that twi used to isolate us from other Christians- like "believer" for ONLY twi Christians. There's a lot of freedom here to be whatever and to believe whatever, so there's a lot of points of view represented here. That's definitely counter to a twi experience, but it's generally a lot healthier to have fresh air and disagreements than unanimity and stale repetition. -
Right. Hawkeye can´t seem to miss at golf. Ant-Man was called ¨Tic Tac¨ and he also shrank to enter the Iron Man armor. Charles Spencer was a kid building houses for the poor in Sokovia when Ultron destroyed it.
