  1. I should have figured out Austin Powers' dad. Then again, I wasn't a big fan of that series.
  2. This was obviously "Wayne's World." Oddly enough, the other day, I was multi-tasking and watching the video from the "Wayne's World" vcr game. The game was described as uninspired and uninteresting. Judging from the video, that's probably correct. So, this was on my mind.
  3. Alicia Silverstone the Crush Cary Elwes
  4. Romancing the Stone Kathleen Turner Undercover Blues
  5. Just so I can say I asked, that's not "Zeppo" Marx, is it?
  6. I remember this because I knew a guy that had a gun-rack but no longer had A gun, let alone many guns that would necessitate a gun-rack.
  7. No idea, but I've at least heard it before.
  8. Colin Clive played him in the Universal films, Peter Cushing played him in the Hammer films. The first 3 I named all played him in different adaptations from 1973, if you can believe it. "Sting" played him in "The Bride." Raul Julia was in Roger Corman's "Frankenstein Unbound." Kenneth Branagh was in "Mary Shelley's Frankenstein." Samuel West was in "Van Helsing." Alec Newman played him in 2004. Aden Young is in "I, Frankenstein" (2014) and James McAvoy in "Victor Frankenstein" (2015). That's slated for this year with Daniel Radcliffe as Igor.
  9. Leonard Whiting Udo Kier Robert Foxworth Colin Clive Gordon "Sting" Sumner Samuel West Raul Julia Kenneth Branagh Aden Young Peter Cushing Alec Newman James McAvoy
  10. The humble peons heard it out on the field, as well. Once again, vpw took a single verse and invented an entire UNBIBLICAL doctrine around it. We were told we were "the household" and were better than other Christians because we WERE "the household." In fact, one tape on giving broke down giving into the following priorities: A) the household, first and foremost. Give there FIRST. B) other Christians. If you can't FIND another "believer" to give to, give to another Christian. "Even if he does believe there's 800 gods..." C) Anyone else. "If you can't find any Christians....um, help the nicest pagan you know." Whether other Christians could even be called "believers" was a subject of disagreement. Certainly they were to be derided whenever possible, since they were referred to with names like "churchianity" and their leaders educated in "theological cemeteries". But we were definitely in a higher tier than all other Christians- that was straight from vpw and came up in a variety of ways throughout twi- and continues to come up in groups led by ex-twi survivors, especially leaders trained in twi.
  11. Branagh HAS done a lot of Shakespeare, but that doesn't mean ALL his roles have been Shakespeare. This is not one of them.
  12. I'm still curious about something. If that current stfi office-holder ever posts again, I'm curious what he thinks about the lack of disclosure. He's one of the people in charge of a group that has had at least 2 public scandals of doctrine and practice, and he seems completely uninformed of them! He said he was uninformed about MOMENTUS, and that's remarkable. (We have plenty of information about it here for him.) I didn't get to ask him about the "personal prophecy" boondoggle that Lynn even allowed to trash his own marriage. (We have plenty of information about it here for him.)
  13. Leonard Whiting Udo Kier Robert Foxworth Colin Clive Gordon "Sting" Sumner Samuel West Raul Julia Kenneth Branagh Aden Young
  14. "Arrow" seems to have survived the recurring role nicely.
  15. Got to be that movie I slept through, what was it again? "Superman Returns." With Ray Palmer and Kevin Spacey.
  16. Actually, these are all actors who shared/share a common role.
  17. Ok, I looked up John Belushi's IMDb page and confirmed my answer. So, my turn. Leonard Whiting Udo Kier Robert Foxworth Colin Clive Gordon Sumner Samuel West
  18. This cult-favorite has also been made into a Broadway/traveling musical, and is regularly aired on Halloween night for fans watching at home. Susan Sarandon and Barry Bostwick are probably embarrassed this movie is on their respective resumes.
  19. Son of the Mask Ben Stein Ferris Buehler's Day Off
  20. But she appeared in an episode of "Big Bang Theory" something like 5 years ago, so just showing up isn't the kiss of death. Ted Mc Ginley once pointed out that most shows that brought him in survived a few more seasons on the air. (He never commented on their QUALITY, just their SURVIVAL.)
  21. That's it. Gene Hackman, ad-libbing the end of his scene as the blind hermit. I-gor, when meeting the young doctor.
  22. Might be "Brother Bluto" from "Animal House", making this JOHN BELUSHI.
