  7. Behind Blue Eyes...had it from the get-go. Now Muscle Shoals has got The Swampers And they've been known to pick a song or two
  8. "Oh, Darling!"...one of my all-time favs When I think of those East End lights, muggy nights The curtains drawn in the little room downstairs
  9. I will say this: it's a very convenient explanation for God's various demonstrations of wrath as described in the OT. When I started reading the bible a couple of years ago I was shocked at many of the stories. But at the time (and this was key) a bible study class somebody sent me on CD informed me that the plagues etc. weren't God's doing. The instructors from CES/STFI assured me that God is all light and love. He never could have perpetrated destruction and genocide on his creation. And I was very relieved -- for a short while. Then I realized that many (most?) believing Christians accept the stories literally...i.e. (for example) that the CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE could have commanded the summary execution of a Sabbath day wood-gatherer (see Numbers). And so that became a huge problem for me.
  10. I love that song. (True confession: I -- ignorant, stupid I -- thought, up until the time I was about 45 years of age, that that DC5 song was by the Beatles...) ...Or was it Glad All Over?
  11. What waysider said. Also, I've posted the topic in two other bible discussion forums and nobody ever heard of it.
  12. I'll guess the most obvious choice: Night of the Living Dead?
  13. wild guess(s): Funky Broadway...or...Land of 1,00 Dances? State Street is in New Orleans, isn't it?
  14. She is lovely, yes she's sly And you're an ordinary guy
  15. Yep, the song title is a challenge, alright. It's one of those deals where the words are never mentioned in the song. (Obviously you all know the song.) I'll give it another day... Don't forget to indicate the correct "impression" and "part"...and spelling counts! ha ha (There are three hints in the above statement.)
  16. Dude, I know you must have been a cook in another lifetime. Or possibly an entertainer of some sort. You might have had your own cooking show.
  17. I have one... ...I forgot it though. Ah yes, here it is... Welcome back my friends To the show that never ends
  18. Nobody could get this, huh? That's okay, I couldn't have either. Here's a hint: it's a Christmas song. You all know the song well, you just don't know all the verses.
  19. Suite: Judy Blue Eyes Saturday night and I just got paid
  20. Lady Madonna (I only needed that first line.) A day or two ago the story I must tell I went out on the snow And on my back I fell
