  1. Over on another thread, Raf just posted the answer. Does that count? No! "The Postman" If the postman hadn't been shunned somebody would have got this! What do call a thousand lawyers chained together at the bottom of the sea? A good start.
  2. Since this movie was not that popular I'm giving you the name of the actor who said it. Will Patton
  3. OK. Then, I have a good line, but it's from a movie most people have shunned. They're loss. You want a war? You want a war? I'll give you a war. I was born for it.

  5. Stranger Than Fiction Will Ferrell Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy
  6. At very least, we should give numerous single-one line clues from the picture in question if that's what this thread has become. The one line clues have the tendency to seem like a number of different flicks where they may or may not have been used before. The object in name that flick is to be challenging is it not, not to be tedious, which is what these one liners are for me. Not that the clue WordWolf gave is tedious. It just doesn't give me enough information and looses my enthusiasm for playing the game. Sorry. I'm joyed.
  7. Can't say that I've ever heard this one (other than what George said, I would have said that too), but let's go with "Casablanca"?
  8. Isn't this what the crew of roman slaves were chanting in Ben Hur, when the centurian was down in the hull of the Roman ship while pushing them to exhaustion testing their endurance? Battle speed......................!!!!!!!! Attack speed..................!!!!!!!!!! Ramming speed.....................!!!!!!! Sorry, but I'm trying to be witty in light of having no idea. Ben Hur
  9. Man on Fire Dakota Fanning War Of The Worlds ,latest one
  10. Go on and close the curtains 'Cause all we need is candlelight You and me, and a bottle of wine To hold you tonight (oh) Well we know I'm going away And how I wish - I wish it weren't so So take this wine and drink with me And let's delay our misery [quote name='WordWolf' On the off-chance someone new recognizes the current song, I'll wait a little before answering. This one I remember as much from the video as the radioplay. I'll link to that one once the answer is up, or I post it. Go ahead and post the link WordWolf, that's fine by me.
  11. Since were still on the subject of multiple movies with the same line, this is almost verbatim to the the lines used in the Ben Affleck's movie "The Town", minus the show you the stinking part badges part.
  12. Jane Lynch, (played a Chemist in a lab) The 40 year old virgin Seth Rogan
  13. I haven't seen this (That seems to be a theme here, whoever posts has never seen the movie) but I'm pretty sure this guy was in most, or all of them. He must be the pinball wizard. Alan Rickman Die Hard Bonnie Bedelia
  14. This is Bob Dylan guys. A great song. Dylan won an oscar (George is frowning about now) for this song from the movie Wonder Boys. "Things Have Changed" I would have put the song up but my flash player is bonkers. New song/tune. Go on and close the curtains 'Cause all we need is candlelight You and me, and a bottle of wine To hold you tonight (oh) Well we know I'm going away And how I wish - I wish it weren't so So take this wine and drink with me And let's delay our misery
  15. Anyway, WordWolf, thanks for helping me straighten that out. I do remember watching "The Thing from Another World" when I was a kid. Yes, I am too aware of the other films with the same story, but not with just the title "The Thing" prior to the 80's that Raf was referring to not. So...............I'm not really sure about this clue, even with the latest that Raf has dropped.
  16. I was a click away from posting this but I didn't think there was a movie called 'The Thing" prior to 1982.
  17. Melanie Griffith Pacific Heights Matthew Modine
  18. A worried man with a worried mind No one in front of me and nothing behind There's a woman on my lap and she's drinking champagne Got white skin, got assassin's eyes I'm looking up into the sapphire-tinted skies I'm well dressed, waiting on the last train This place ain't doing me any good I'm in the wrong town, I should be in Hollywood Just for a second there I thought I saw something move Gonna take dancing lessons do the jitterbug rag Ain't no shortcuts, gonna dress in drag Only a fool in here would think he's got anything to prove Lot of water under the bridge, Lot of other stuff too Don't get up gentlemen, I'm only passing through I've been walking forty miles of bad road If the Bible is right, the world will explode I've been trying to get as far away from myself as I can Some things are too hot to touch The human mind can only stand so much You can't win with a losing hand
