Just get tired, really, of the original getting bashed. Then and now are like today and yesterday. Can't compare, but don't put them in the same jar because they won't fit. I don't post a lot unless it is meaninful or annoys me greatly. Just don't trash it all...two different times is what I want folks to see. Can't incorporate the two different times.

Then "current" corps has nothing to do with me....just get tired of the bashing. Some of us I don't think were asses. The Corps had it's good points, if you accepted some and rejected what didn't fit -- personal choices. Just get tired of everything being bashed. I still think it saved some people.

Not EVERYONE before the 80's was in as an foot ..... I went in for personal reasons....to get more knowledge....but I didn't swallow everything that was dished out to me. I made the choice...swallow or put in the garbage can. I know later years were different, but it's apparently two different Corps-type administrations. Please don't group ALL the Corps into one thing on someone's plate. Not all of us were taught, reacted, or did what those in the 90's did. There is a distinction....I would appreciate if that distinction were at least acknowledge if not respected. Some that post here are in the 70's, 80's period. Some are 90's and up. It was different then, so please don't put everyone in the same soup pot.

I do. I have run into past loves. I've been disappointed, glad I never went down that path, and questionned other paths. I think everyone does that.....especially when reminissing. I think that is normal, to think of, wonder where they are, what your life would be if you'd chosen a different path. Sometimes the "old history" re-occurs, rarely I think", and sometimes it works dynamically. I think that if the path had originally been taken "way back when", it might have turned out differently, not so positive. But the older people get if a path is "reconnected" I think it could possibly have a positive outcome. Kind of like how you have to sew the wild seeds, and then remember reality if that makes sense. (This is all JUST MY opinion).

Not EVERYONE in the Way swallowed what was served at meals....or drank the kool-aid if it was offered.

I left in '88.....but worked from home while on staff from '85-'88 so didn't have to show up except once a week to take in transcripts that I was typing of the entire Rock of Ages from day one till then. So the actual year of leaving would have been '88.

Good friend of mine that I have found after 30 years is about to have major surgery. The person is also going through medication changes at this time that aren't working well. Would appreciate prayers for RumRunner for the upcoming surgery and for the present meds to be adjusted to where the body isn't rejecting or having a hard time with them. Some of you know RumRunner and I'm sure if you know RumRunner as I know RumRunner, you have a life-long friend. Any and all prayers are appreciated.

Understand that Biker....but it's when I haven't been on, sign in and I've been there. Sometimes I haven't been on line for days, or a week. I signed in tonight and went to chat....said I was already there.

I went into chat and it said I was already there......I look at the "log in" time too and I haven't been there when it says I was. Dunno...but changed my password. My kids all have my password and I have theirs...my son I know got really angry when I was IM'g a friend so blocked them and I didn't know.

Someone is signing on and posting as "ME"....or talking as "ME" and it's not me!!! I am going to go change my password. When I went to sign on and go to chat, it told me I was already there. This happened to me before but I didn't change my password at the time. So .... someone is on here that is not ME....I don't understand that tho. And when I've come to look at the board and signed in, it said I was just there (where it gives the time last there, etc. So.....some topics or conversations you have had with "ME"...weren't "ME". Just want to let you know.
