Happy birthday, dear Jardinero! :)

Tonto, I love reading everything that you write. Thanks. wb

Yes, Oeno, that is definitely LIFE! Nope, they don't look a different color, Chas, and once in college, pond, I did gelatin and hair started growing in places you don't wanna know about. Hehe. Also, Chas, my hands are very rarely in water these days, so that couldn't be it. My cuticles are peeling to beat the band, too. Maybe I'll try lotion, which i very rarely use. I'm pretty sure eating frozen dinners everyday at lunch has contributed to my nail condition AND gaining weight, but that's another story (I eat chocolate almost everyday--great stress reliever--and I'm sure THAT has nothing whatsoever to do with it!). Actually, I can't take calcium tablets because they have some interesting side effects on me, and I don't do dairy. So, I just bought some OJ with calcium. My but they were expensive, but gotta start somewhere. Also, when I used to do liquid herbs rich in iron, my nails looked good. Maybe I'll call my friend and place an order. You're right Oeno. Life was easier when we just watched Barney and Andy.

Hi djs, Welcome! Which book are you referring to? There are so many. I think I got Kahler's book from Amazon. Take care, wb

No, but I accidentally cut my index finger several weeks ago and it's just now healing up. That's when they all started to break. Do you think there could be any correlation?
-
...do you mind if i ask "such as"?
-
I'm pretty good at breaking 'em. People get mad at me, but I break rules anyway sometimes. No real rhyme or reason. I just break 'em randomly--no particular category either. I'm just not good at always doing everything "right."

I liked him, too, Sudo. It was a real treat to go to Mt. Airey three years ago to the Mayberry Festival that they have every year in September. I went with my dad. They have the police car there and Andy Griffith spoke that morning. We missed the talk, but it was fun eating at the cafe and talking to some of the fans who came. They were from all different states--Georgia, Virginia, Maryland, NJ--sort of like Trekkies. He will be missed.

...and I've never even had long nails. They're breaking down past the quick. Ouch! Does anyone know what nutrient, mineral, vitamin, or otherwise I'm missing in my diet that could cause that? Are there any remedies that anyone knows about? Please help!!!!

Pipes, Remember, too, that Jan/Feb are the depression months for lots of people because they are the darkest months of the year ( someone help me here, please, lack of seratonin or something like that). Once the sunlight shines more each day and the days become longer, this too will disappear. I'm that way, too (except for a couple of years when I took a liquid herb combination to balance my hormones). So, basically, what I'm saying is that it's normal for a certain portion of the population to feel a little depressed during these months and get into a funk. It will soon be over. Once I realized what was causing it and why winter was a challenge for me, it was easier to overcome it. I'm glad you're here! Take care, wb

Thanks Belle, So, then, we'll just THINK ourselves into a state of well-being and that way we'll have peace (according to twi). ????????
-
...well, yeah, that's what I thought, too, and don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I've arrived, either. So, are you saying extwi people that you know who say they have a ministry are very humble people?

Hey Bluze!

. He was a Pharisee, zealously persecuting the church, having the Pharisee-Slant on the Old Testament [Philippians 3: 4-6]. Then, one fateful day, as he's riding on his high horse and the resurrected Jesus confronts him! ] T-Bone, I plan to finish up reading your post when I get home from work, but you said in a nutshell what I believe happened to me and why I got out, "as he's riding on his high horse and the resurrected Jesus confronts him!" I think that was what happened to me, too. Then, I just quit communicating with them. How do you do that quote thing?

Ex10, We have a CD that has a song on it by him about being ugly. Now, I'm not that beautiful myself but how could he call anyone ugly? hehe. I'm glad to hear you report that he is respectful, though. That always raises my opinion about a man, in any event. Thanks for the scoop! wb

Hey Radar, Wanna get together this weekend? I'm near Hickory, but would be willing to drive to meet you for supper or something tomorrow or Saturday night if you're free and you want to get together. wb

...not to fall down and worship him, of course....

mj, I think I get what you're saying: Blessed be thee name of thee Johns and thee Mark. Blessed be thee name of thee Johns and thee Mark. wb Mark O'Malley, Do we know each other? I'm sorry, I haven't read up on how to pt's yet. Could you send me one and then I'll have to figure out how to read it. Thanks! wb Free From, I' know what you mean--like Bin Laden. Right? wb

Okay, I just have to say this and get it off my chest. Here goes. Maybe it's me, but almost everyone, extwi person, that I know or GET to KNOW, who says they have a ministry now--even if they say they have different doctrine or even partially different doctrine--they all still ACT the same arrogant twi way. I've even given money and really supported several of these "ministries" only to find out that the ones at the top really aren't any different than they were in twi. They all, when you get right down to it, really believe that they have a special connection to God and are just a little bit better than their flock. Has anyone else run across this? Is this common throughout Christianity, also, or is it just mainly extwi? Or, is it just me?

ohmygosh, Greasy, that's a hoot!

Chas, all, here's a book that I really like: Redefining The Role of Women in the Church It will set ya free and then you will be free indeed...no, really. It's a great book. My life is so different, now. I feel like another person, really, I do. I stand up for myself on a regular basis. It's fun. Wish I'd done that years ago, but then I would have gotten out of twi much earlier, so you get free when you get free I suppose. But it will get easier and one day it will really be behind you and you will feel better. Love, wb
