I would love it if someone would explain more about Jewish holidays and the symbolism, traditions, and what it all means - I work with some Jewish people and I never know what to say or do when they talk about. I don't want to seem ignorant - it's just I was never exposed to other religions much... I do want to learn!

I belonged to a Jewish fraternity in college. One of my frat brothers explained it this way: Christian holidays are all about happiness and miracles; Jewish holidays celebrate the fact that they're not all dead yet!
