Biblically, do angles have wings or sing carols?

Recommended Posts

I heard "the way" once say in a teaching somewhere that, biblically, angels are never once attributed to having wings or singing carols. Cherubs (closely associated with angels) certainly are attributed to having wings and is seems seraphims (whatever they are) have several sets of wings. Eagles have wings, doves have wings. Why is it such a wide spread belief that angels fly upon wings and sing. Does the book of Enoch perhaps attribute wings to angels? Is it some apocryphal book of gnosticism that attributes wings to angels? Any info on the subject would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It would seem that even cherubs would run out of oxygen if they were to fly too high up into the atmosphere. :)
