It should have been easier. Margot Kidder meant it was a Superman movie. Jackie Cooper should have told me that sooner. Robert Vaughn narrowed it down a lot. IIRC, the other movies included Lex Luthor, but Robert Vaughn played the evil genius in this one.
As a point of trivia, I like to note that he plays characters in the MCU (Steve Rogers/Cap), in Scott Pilgrim's verse (Lucas Lee, the 2nd of 7 evil exes), and the 20th century Fox movies (Johnny Storm.) Not many actors can say that.
With the movie "Scott Pilgrim (etc)", we can go from DC to Marvel or vice versa, with one evil ex played by Chris Evans and another played by Brandon Routh. To say nothing of Envy Adams (Scott's evil ex), who was played by Bree Daniels.

I'm not familiar with the Scott Pilgrim stuff, but I knew Evans was in the early F4 movies and the more recent Avengers-type stuff.
