About the way forum unavailable unless registered

My browser hadn't cached my login when I came in today. Instead of the listing of forums, I was put immediately into the login screen.

If I logout, the same result occurs and I cannot get to any of the forums, especially this one.

Is this intentional?

For quite some time when I have come to the forums, the about the way has shown last reply to what thrd, by whom and the time, all the others just had a time stamp. Maybe some changes have been done......

To PT someone, click on their name, then click on their public profile, and you'll see some "options" once you get to their profile.

"Send a private message to ..." is one of those options.

That is (probably) a round-about-way of doing it, but it works for me.

(as I said -- I'm learning too!)

Also -- if you click on someone's name (from their post), it will also say "invite so and so to a private topic".
