Even I know this one. "Money for Nothing" by Dire Straits.

I love the Weird Al "Beverly Hillbillies" parody.

Satan should be her name.

To me, they're about the same.

George

That's it George! lol! Your turn. And thank you for Parody. I love Weird Al Parodies. I'll listen to it in a little bit as soon as I finish this paperwork I'm on, lol. smile.gif

OH I found the video version of it and it's great.

Anyway,

Satan should be her name.

To me, they're about the same.

George

OH I didn't know you were giving a clue. SORRY! Btw, I don't know what you are getting but with your link on Weird AL all I'm getting is the song and a pic of him with goofy glasses on! Okay, back to clue. Satan should be her name, to me they're about the same. hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I'm here. However, I'm without (a bean), a clue. Not ringing any bells. RottieGrrrl.

Okay well at least you're here. biglaugh.gif/> I don't have to feel clueless alone. This is an oldie, and I know that we both know this, we just need a tune to go with it. sigh.

Maybe it will come to me in my sleep. Sigh.

Here's the whole song, with the title redacted:

The worst person I know [TITLE][TITLE]

She worries me so [TITLE][TITLE]

If she leaves us alone we would have a happy home

Sent from down below [TITLE][TITLE]

[TITLE][TITLE]

I come home with my pay [TITLE][TITLE]

She asks me what I made [TITLE][TITLE]

She thinks her advice is a contribution but

if she will leave that will be the solution

and don't come back no more [TITLE][TITLE]

[TITLE][TITLE]

Satan should be her name [TITLE][TITLE]

To me they're about the same [TITLE][TITLE]

Every time I open my mouth She steps in and tries to put me out

How could she stoop so low [TITLE][TITLE]

[TITLE][TITLE]

The 60's group was part of the British Invasion.

I gave the lyrics to my boss and another guy and told them DONT TELL ME IF YOU KNOW THIS SONG, just humm a couple of bars.....:wink2:/> But Neither one of them could get it, and they both know music! It shows you how much we depend on a melody to get the lyrics! still thinking...................

It's obviously about a woman the singer knows well. I'll tell you it's not his wife, mother, or sister.

George

George you're too funny. Your so patient, lol WordWolf would be doing his "sigh" by now. biglaugh.gif/> Okay, not his wife, mom sis, has to be lover or mistress. hmmmmm, hmmmm, hmmmmm, I'm going to take a nap. Maybe it will come to me, lol. Pretty soon we'll have to play hangman with this one. Hmmm, Lover Lover? hmmmm.

George you'v always been masterful about putting the tune in our head, and then driving us nuts to figure out what it is. Good job.

Here's a newer song.

I was walking down the street

when out of the corner of my eye

I saw a pretty litttle thing

approaching me

She said I never seen a man

who looked so all alone

could you use a little company?

If you pay the right price

your evening will be nice

or you could go and send me on my way

Here's a newer song. Like 6 years ago.

I was walking down the street

when out of the corner of my eye

I saw a pretty litttle thing

approaching me

She said I never seen a man

who looked so all alone

could you use a little company?

If you pay the right price

your evening will be nice

or you could go and send me on my way

I said your such a sweet young thing,

Why you do this to yourself?

She looked at me and this is what she said

Oh, there [ the song title]

Money don't grow on tree's

I got bills to pay, I got mouths to feed

There ain't nothing in this world for free

Alright there's been no guesses so I'll move on and let someone else go.

The song is "No Rest For The Wicked" by Cage The Elephant.

Actually just watched the video for the first time and I imagined them to be a little older.

They look like kids.
