The Torah to Revelation: The Mystery: The Rapture
revvel replied to revvel's topic in Doctrinal: Exploring the Bible
THE MYSTERY: CHRIST’S CHURCH AND THE HOUSE OF JACOB/ISRAEL [W]e speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the ages for our glory. None of the rulers of this age knew it. For had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (1 Cor. 2:7, 8) God had hidden a mystery in the Law of Moses in the seven holy days*, and He fully revealed it in the Book of Revelation with the end-time seals**: SPRING HOLY DAYS 1. Passover*: Lamb of God Sacrificed 2. Feast of Unleavened Bread*: Christ in the Burial Tomb 3. Feast of First Fruits*: Christ Resurrected 4. Feast of Weeks (Pentecost)*: Holy Spirit sent to the Disciples FALL HOLY DAYS 5. Rosh Hashanah/Feast of Trumpets*: Sixth Seal**/The Day of the Lord/The Mystery of God: Christ’s Church/The Last Trumpet/Blood Red Moon/The Sky: Appearance of Christ /The Rapture 6. Yom Kippur/Day of Atonement*: The Seventh Seal**/The Mystery of God: The House of Jacob/Israel/The Great Trumpet/Dark Moon/Parable of the 10 Virgins/Christ’s Revelation/Apocalypse/Lightning/Israel: Salvation/Atonement: House of Jacob “In the days when the seventh angel is about to sound, the mystery of God will be fulfilled, as He has declared to His servants the prophets.” (Rev. 10:7) 7. Feast of Tabernacles*: The Millennial Kingdom /Regeneration/Restoration of Israel’s Kingdom/Seventh Seal** “Then it will be that all the nations who have come against Jerusalem and survived will go up each year to worship the King, the Lord of Hosts, and to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.” (Zech. 14:16) Our eternal God inspired Scripture. As God is the author, the mystery once hidden in the Old Testament must be in complete agreement with the mystery revealed in the New Testament. In the New Testament, John gave us seven seals in Revelation. In the Old Testament, Moses gave us seven holy days in the Law. Thus, God gave us a numbered chronology in the Law and in Revelation. Importantly, the mystery of God reveals the harmony between the Law and Revelation: The mystery, once hidden in the Law of Moses, is fully revealed in the Book of Revelation. God revealed this harmony between the Law and Revelation in the following way: Regarding the end times, God numbered “The End” (end-time prophecies) in the beginning of the Bible (the Law, through Moses), and God numbered “The End” (end-time prophecies) at the end of the Bible (the Book of Revelation, through John). And these two witnesses agree. The numbered chronology given by Moses in the Law (with the fall holy days), and the numbered chronology given by John (with the end-time seals), reveal God’s mystery for the end times. And this mystery contained the order of end-time events: the Rapture (to save and glorify Christ’s kingdom), the Apocalypse (to redeem Israel/atonement for the house of Jacob), and finally, the timing of the Millennial Kingdom (Christ’s reign from Jerusalem as King after His second coming to Israel). The numbered chronologies of Moses and John align perfectly, forming one unified template. Thus, all end-time prophecies—given by the prophets and disciples—drop right into this divine order. Christ will fulfill the mystery in the fall holy days and end-time prophecies with His second revelation (appearing) exactly as given. And God has given us a precedent: Christ already fulfilled the mystery in the four spring holy days with His first coming in the first century A.D. The Law of Moses, the Book of Revelation, and the revelation of the mystery form a matrix of truth that cannot be broken. The common thread of the mystery extends from the Law to Revelation—and pulls together the entire Bible. Peace. revvel - Today

I can only think of two movies with Will Ferrell and Christina Applegate... George

Name that Actor/Actress (or Role)

I thought I added some names. This (famous) actor is easy to recognize from the movies he appeared in, but not necessarily from his roles in those films. OK, then. Chip Diller Timothy Fenwick, Jr. Ren McCormack Jack Casey Jake Briggs Valentine McKee David Labraccio Willie O'Keefe Capt. Jack Ross George -
So, I watched it (in several sections). What an odd and abrupt ending. Why did Judy fall out the window? Even if the nun startled her, why was she by the open window in the first place? She was afraid of Scottie; I'd expect her to be cowering in a corner. And we never know what happens to Scottie. Is he brought up on charges, this time? What happens in the European version? Does Judy not fall, and is Gavin Elster arrested? George (Back to the current thread in a minute...)

Going to the Country ~Canned Heat~ (not that we need to know that artist detail here) Another one. They say we're young and we don't know........ -
We're back now then, George. An Oscar nominated movie with an Oscar winning actress who produced and directed it. Man! An excellent clue, George, but I'm afraid I that I don't have the answer.

When this movie came out, everyone told me "It really makes you think." That is the LAST thing I want in a movie, so I haven't seen it. Action? Yes. Comedy? Yes. Sex? Yes. But "thinking"? No. This is Chrissy Metz's (whoever THAT is) fifth saddest movie of all time. For her role in this film, the star became the one and only Best Actress Oscar winner to produce and direct a Best Picture nominated film. One of the main characters is a world class violinist. The actor portraying him did not play violin but watched two professionals perform the piece he would play in the film. Then he "finger-synched" the piece almost perfectly. George

I'm not sure it's tougher, technically, because my recognition of either is zero. George

Only because I have another, tougher quote at the ready: Hook Next turn: "Shame on me for kissing you with my eyes closed so tight"

"Vertigo" is showing tonight on Turner Classic Movies (TCM). I'm recording it. George

"I've just had an apostrophe." "You mean an epiphany." "Lightning has just struck my brain." "That must hurt."

It would appear not. George

Richie in his first recording session- recording "Come On, Let's Go," exactly the same, for take after take. By the end, the audience sympathized with Bob, who fell asleep in the middle and only woke up when the music stopped. We didn't hear a difference either. BTW, did anyone besides Raf catch my reference to the infamous coin toss?

She really backed the wrong horse there. She was Richie's girlfriend, then went for his brother Bob, who had the motorcycle and flash. Then Richie, a stable guy, became a star, and she was with Bob, who was neither faithful nor sober, often.
