I didn't have one, but since we gave my head a break, it was able to work something out eventually, so I have one right now. Some actors get their start in a small role in a movie, some get their start on a television show. This show's cast, when it started, included an actor that had been in several movies. However, he became known for this show far more than any movie he had done before this show. After 4 few years on the show, he left, and returned to movies. He made a lot of movies, and some were liked by critics or were complete bombs, and a number weer box office smashes. Another actor from this show stayed for all 5 seasons. He was in several episodes in the last season, but he was in the show more for the previous seasons. He had appeared here and there in other shows as well (I remember he appeared in an episode of "Highlander-the Series.") His real life brother appeared on the show, and was a regular in the 5th season. (Their Dad was a famous actor.) Their other brother is an actor, but he never appeared on this show, AFAIK. Another actor from this show joined during the 1st season, and stayed through the rest of the series. He also appeared in a number of television shows, but I mainly remember him from his appearance here and in a minor role in the Blues Brothers movie. What show was this?

Russell Crowe was offered a major role in this film but could not do it due to scheduling conflicts with "A Beautiful Mind." He suggested Eric Bana for the role. It was Bana's first role in an American film. Ewan MacGregor's role was based on a person involved in the actual event on which the movie is based. The actual soldier won a Silver Star for his actions but was later convicted of child molestation. MacGregor's character, therefore, had a different name. The scene depicting a soldier cut completely in half by an RPG is partially true. In reality his torso and legs were held together by his spine, and he survived unconscious for about two hours. In his commentary, the screenwriter opted to depict it as it is onscreen as he felt audiences would not be able to suspend their disbelief if it was shown as it happened. George

In any SANE group, the planning meeting would have included "How to we reduce the risk of rape to zero or as close to it as life allows?" Obviously, in an absolute sense, the probability is not zero around the planet. That's not the same as saying that SENSIBLE precautions should be taken.
