Or even, this SITE. Main theme? Mission statement is "Telling the other side of the story." Lots of "themes" within that. Stupid meandering "conversations" going nowhere are a waste of time. Suggest you look at some of the other threads to see how some stay together on topic and some end up getting junked. Just as this one ought to be.

Four crucified is emblematic man’s gullibility, stupidity and dishonesty. As long as it is “taught,” as long as it is regurgitated, I will stand against it. As long as charlatans like Victor Wierwille (not a real doctor), Loy Martindale, Chris Reed and Kat Kerr are defecating into the mouth of God, I will stand against them.

If we stayed on topic the thread would have been over a long time ago. Probably why this sight is dying. Any good message board has a main theme but still people develop relationships and want to shoot the bull. Please don't be offended, I'm just sharing what I learned from a lot of messages board. One exception. Nathan Jr is probably going to be obsessed about 4 crucified the rest of his life. 40 years from now he'll be on GSC talking about it.

"Whipping Post" Allman Brothers Band Not really playing, so I'll make it super easy, a virtually free post. Duane Allman played on a certain cover of this song. Bonus points for naming the cover artist with whom Duane played. "...don't make it bad Take a sad song and make it better Remember to let her into your heart Then you can start to make it better"

Three movies or Three actors
Human without the bean replied to Raf's topic in Movies, Music, Books, Art
Man, I had to unscramble my brain trying to fit the face of the picture in my head to the name of the actress. I think "Grumpy Old Men" was the last time I watched a movie with Ann Margret in it. Which if I can recall, still looked pretty good then, for mid-50's something. Now almost 85. -
Not resonating with me, either. I'm guessing the Waysider's "whipped" was a clue, but I'm not getting it. George

That's the one. George

No. I don't think Heatherton was in any of the movies. She was cute, though. George

For me, yes, pretty much.

I can picture who it is I'm thinking of but I can't come up with her name. She's a redhead, right? She was in an Elvis movie. She's the love interest of both the Grumpy Old Men. I'm dumbfounded. -
For the love of... Ok. Stop. I am trying not to be heavy handed here but for the love of Jiminy Cricket can you all please stay on topic?
-
Are you saying this post has you whipped?
-
I'm not drawing on anything.

No I was serious. If it wasn't her could it be Joey Heatherton. -
I'm not sure if you're kidding. Bergen was in Carnal Knowledge but none of the others. George

It is! -
Just so you all know, this isn't vulgar. This is perfectly placed humor from, I believe, the 2004 BET music awards. Kudos, sir. Well done. Didn't think you had it in you!

songs remembered from just one line

When Will I be Loved... Linda Ronstadt's version I personally prefer the Everly Brothers version. It's more of a shuffle and has a slightly different vocal phrasing. -
Time for this thread to disappear to Soap Opera or some such place. Maybe the first page or two might have value. The rest - hahhah

But I digress.

He's Rick James, Bitch!

We can build on that. What do you think of Rick James?
