  1. Garth and Belle, thanks so much for the feedback. That is why I didnt give them my credit card #.... :)--> Sure wish there was something legitimate that one could do from home on the computer/internet.
  2. I am interested in working at home. I came upon this site (link) on the BHG website. They wanted $39.95 for me to sign up. I didnt. Instead I decided to ask the many informed gser's if they know of this organization and if it is legit. I checked BBB online & the only thing they have on them is where AHWA had a link to BBB that was unauthorized. Any help would be appreciated. BTW, a person supposedly gets paid for each survey that they complete. Thanks in advance for any and all replies!!!!
  3. TheHighWay, no, it is about a guy who overcame homosexuality with twi's help. :D--> I read it only once so my book is in perfect condition, except a small tear on the paper book cover.

    Kick Boxing!!!

Belle, gc, Tom, Kathy, and Shellon, thanks for the good wishes and the comments about kick boxing. Belle, in another thread, you said someone in your family lives in KY. Western KY by chance? This year our antique show that Kathy and I do will be in October, 23 & 24, I believe. Anyway, it does benefit the local Hospital Foundation. We had a blast last year. So Belle, you are hereby invited to the antique show and you dont even have to like antiques. Delicious food and desserts are also served for a nominal cost. And Tom, thanks for saying 'YOUNG lady'. heehee I really dont feel like I will be 50 a year from now. :o--> gc, it is fun to celebrate birthdays all day, huh? :)-->

    Kick Boxing!!!

Kathy, what a great idea!! Just kick box those folks who dont want to buy our vintage hats and accessories, after all, it is for a GOOD cause. ;)--> And, you can choose another target instead of your hubby!!! Zshot, thanx for the birthday wish. So far so good. Yesterday, I spent the day w/ my mom and sis. Went shopping and then out to eat. This morning, hubby has given me a beautiful birthday card and told me about plans for a dinner at Biaggi's, a wonderful Italian restaurant, on Friday nite. Going to kick boxing tonite, then friend & I are going to a restaurant for take out, then come to my house and celebrate... that is, if I can walk!!! heehee... really, I am fine, except below my neck, between my shoulders. And Zshot, thanx for the remember of stretching and water. The instructor does start us out stretching and we all bring water.

I will try to be careful. I am glad that you like running.... I never have. We had to run when we were WOW's and I hated it. Wasnt sure till around 4pm that we were actually gonna go. And thanx for the happy birthday wish. I think I will make it to 49 now that I CAN walk and move my arms this morning. ;)--> Hey Kathy, I will be checking out 'real' classes maybe today or Thursday. Hubby is probably withholding comments until he sees that I can still move today!!! (He wont be home till tonite.) And yes, you had better start practicing on your hubby....using him as a target...... just kidding!!!!!!!!!!

    whatever

Hey, Excath. You and your family are in my prayers. It is a tough thing to go thru no matter how one feels about the person.
  16. I have been 'out' for over 10 years so I dont really remember my FIRST experience. In the past 10 years, I have been to the Episcopal Church for a funeral and a christening, Catholic churches for funerals, Baptist church with my dad on Father's Day for 4 years, Assembly of God for nieces' and nephews' special programs and a regular church service, the Baptist church that we attended as children on Mother's Day 3 years ago. Cant remember any other 'special occasions'. BUT NOW my hubby and I attend a church that has a wonderful pastor who I feel preaches from his heart and asks GOD to inspire him before each service. Hubby was raised Holiness and we have been to a Pentacostal church also...just remembered that. Anyway, it is sometimes hard for me to hear verses that twi seemed to LAUD above other verses in the Bible, BUT I will not allow twi and their manipulations to keep me from hearing a truly INSPIRED preaching from Bro. Bret. So I steel my mind and push out the crap from twi and I do reap the rewards. And even get my feet stepped on most every Sunday that I attend. :o--> My 'WOW sister' whose hubby was a Country Coor. told me a few years ago via email that they have decided that NO CHURCH or organization has a CORNER on the truth and that is what I adhere to. I also think someone posted this same thought.
  17. The best memories of ROA for me were seeing people that I knew and meeting new people from around the world. I did BP twice and it was no fun....3rd shift both times. I think I still have one of those yellow hats. :P-->
  18. Originally posted by Watered Garden: Not everyone who was WC, ordained and a woman got there by providing sexual favors. Maybe nobody did. Maybe some of them actually deserved it, even though they were women! Ya think? This is beginning to sound very sexist and prejudiced. Not a good thing. WG Well, I believe, that the leaders of this organization, otherwise known as a cult, were both sexist and prejudiced. Could be why some were ordained and others weren't, men and women. From what I have heard, some men didn't get 'moved up' in the cult if their WIVES would not 'perform' for the presidents. Just my humble opinion. :(-->
  19. Hey, ChasUFarley, Terry D. was my TC in early 1980's. He even helped me finish the interior of my log cabin. Any news of him, Donna, Jenny, or Angela? Last I heard, they were still in AL. Sorry to derail.
  20. Hey Sudo... I hear you all are going to get some more straight line winds. Hope all is well. So glad that a Mr. Oi now owns our house. Anyway, hubby says that this singer went to prison for statutory rape. Is he correct?
  21. Thanks, Sudo. My problems are: no tv in my childhood till I was 12 yrs old due to my dad's belief that tv was of the devil, and being in twi for 19 years, I missed out on lots of music and tv watching!!!!!!!! BTW, my sis divorced when I was 12 and brought HER tv to our house!!! Then later she took it and Dad finally bought a tv. He would only watch Billy Graham. We would have to turn the tv off at 8:30 thereby missing out on the last 1/2 hr of any show or movie that we were watching!!! Hubby didnt have a tv till he was grown due to his dad having the same belief. Hubby had a transistor radio that he would listen to after going to bed. He loved Grand Ole Opry and knows most of the OLD songs from 50 plus years ago.
  22. You are right, Kathy, I would have to ask hubby. heehee.... I do enjoy all the pix that you post here, Kathy. When you come down in October, you will have to show me how to do it!!!!!
  23. Ted, hubby would LOVE a copy of the CD. If you ever get down to the bluegrass state, he would proudly show you his music collection. His cousin sent him a CD recently of Vernon Oxford. I said to him "WHO?" His cousin loves to see me roll my eyes when he mentions people that I have never heard of!!
  24. Hey Ex. Just got home from a day with my family. I just about cried reading this. My dad is 82 & lost his 84 yr old brother last month and my mom is 78 & lost her 76 yr old sister a week ago. Life is short.
  25. Hey Ted!!!!! Hope your mom is doing well. I am also pleased that you found info re. your dad. I let hubby read your post and he would like the recordings also. He is VERY MUCH into the OLD stuff. Blues, country, whatever. Good to see you posting again.
