  1. In some ways I know. I had an interesting "encounter" with a person a couple of days back. I've been trying to be nice and help the person out, be a friend.. But when I "screwed up" on some arcane protocol, the person tried to "ream me a new one". Not this time, not again. Not ever, not for ANYONE. Not even if my life depended on it. It was ridiculous, and it was from a VERY religious person. I almost thought of asking if they ever heard of Da Vey. My replies put the person almost in a comatose state for a couple of days. I don't know how good this really is, but I just can't take that kind of crap any more. I stopped short of labelling their religion a false one, with some rather colorful words. I think that would have gone a little too far. Anyway, one day later, and I'm feeling great. That kind of crap from people in the old ministry would have kept me in a slump for two weeks, and I would just sit and take it.
  2. The ironic part of this all is, the Belizean folk are likely to be hauling in trash bag fulls of cashola out of a product that TWI ABANDONED. I wonder how much TWI raked in last year through classes? I bet they didn't hit ten percent of what BBRC took in. There are likely to be thousands of old grads that would buy a copy- but wouldn't have a copy of WAP if you begged them to take it. Its gotta sting, at least a little bit.
  3. Don't get me wrong about the Belizian BRC people though. I imagine their motives are pure, they just think its the right thing to get old doc's theology out there again. Agree with the classes or not, I say peace be with them..
  4. Yep. Well, you know they seem to be fighting a war on many fronts. But you know, the Belizian "problem" is a matter of PRIDE. They have LOST CONTROL of PFAL, old music video and tape publications, in short, THE WORKS. I imagine the BBRC could publish all of the old classes, including doc vic's advanced classes, WITH IMPUNITY. I do not claim to be any kind of legal expert or anything, but I looked over Belizian copyright law. Under their law, the copyright holds only if whatever material in question is CURRENTLY published, and in a SUFFICIENT AMOUNT for the market. TWI loses on all counts. At least that is the way I understood the wording. Considering they would go to the grave, clutching their precious copyrights, this has just got to hurt.
  5. Its funny in a way, TWI has made quite a "stink" over their precious copyrights and such the last few years.. When it comes to Belize, they are QUIET. Quiet as a church mouse, I wonder why? Could it be that they are not as "prevailing" as they once thought? Perhaps someone found a weakness in the armor? You just GOTTA know that this had to be one of the agenda items prior to the new board and assignments. I admit, it would have been fun to see rosies fat and veins bulging profusely, and sweat running down between her ears, because they are so close together (Spike Jones, forgive me).. Had to have been pretty ugly. They don't pay those poor guys enough.. So what to DO? 1. Send a group of high-class lawyers on a really nice trip to try to prevail against impossible odds. I'm sure this was discussed at length. 2. After sending them, try to recover the losses. They could always market PFAL themselves, at two-thirds the price the Belizian people are. But they would have to explain to the innies why they are offering admitted "old wineskins" to the world. Sure they could come up with something.. since they supposedly consider all options, this had to be included in discussions, I am sure. 3. Or they could always do the customary alternative, shut their da*n mouths, bend over, and take it. And don't let the innies have a clue about it. Only those who lurk here will know where you can get the class. If I was just a lurker, this is the last thing I would ask about at the next household fellowship..
  6. I wonder if they sent the BOT a catalog, so they would know where they could get PFAL again. Could advertise on one of those empty signboards close to New Knoxville..
  7. But I think the Belizian BRC probably are doing what they think is right. Plus they are actually doing something good for the people of Belieze. From what I understand, the Belizian government LOVES them. Yep, lets see ole rosie go down and do some litigation against them, on THEIR terms. The Belizian group may not be doing it on purpose, but it really is refreshing to see somebody with impunity rub those fat bastards noses in s*it.
  8. "Enraged" may be an understatement. I imagine ole rose is on the phone every other day with their now rich lawyers.. "Whadya mean, do you mean to tell me we can't do anything!!!??" "Well, Ms(?) Rivenwoof, outside of giving our star lawyers a nice vacation in Belize, without results, that's about right"
  9. Makes perfect sense. Instead of the customary three, they now have five that can be named in the next litigation..
  10. I imagine ole rosie is just FUMING. The pictures of the staff there, they actually look, well, happy.
  11. Probably working the latrines over as we speak..
  12. I smell another lawsuit..
  13. I'm suprised they didn't name this one "the decade of performance". I wouldn't want that hulk (headquarters) on my back.
  14. Could be, Belle. And I bet they will have to justify (squeeze the financial life out of who's left) their existence. I bet with fifteen regions, innies are about to feel the real pressure.
  15. I just wonder what kind of "wisdom" of "forsight" went into the new five year plan, and what do those numbnuts expect to actually ACCOMPLISH? There must have been meetings.. Let's see. Now they have ten regions. For what? What can possibly justify it? Certainly not "growth". Certainly not increased revenue. Unless they plan on REALLY putting the screws to the few innies that are left. "You want FORTY percent now? Oh well, why fight it.." And adding two more to the board, if they could handle things with three board members already, why the need to add two more vice presidents? What possible amount of growth do they anticipate, to take such a drastic approach to business? Certainly lawsuits and copyright infringment were high on the agenda.. specifically, the Belize "problem". Personally, I think the best they can do about that, short of giving a team of lawyers an all-expense high class vacation to Belize, is to just quietly wish that the problem will go away by itself. They have left the WORST of the Nazi, power mongering, hateful SOB's in charge of whole regions. That fact alone suggests to me that whatever is in planning is NOT an attempt to "redefine da ministry to da world". Same bunch of crooks, in my opinion. So, what's the deal?

    PFAL Online?

Yep. What weight they've got left. But it is bizarre, to say the least. PFAL can hardly be considered the "cutting edge of technology", as far as the biblical world is concerned. Outmoded, outdated, flawed, plagiarized, and impractical. Much like the organization itself. There is far far better out there, if you want that kind of thing. But PFAL is the BEST they've got to work with, yet they refuse to use it. Sure makes sense.. And to top it off, if they re-marketed it, there are a few here that would drop what they are doing, return to da ministry, give them fifteen percent of their income, and GLADLY suffer the abuse to hear ole doc vic's (praise be his name, Steve!) voice once again. Seems like they don't need the money, anymore.
  17. Belle, I loved it. Especially the one about male genital injury. One frame, the guy reminded me of the Bobbit character, heh heh. "Aggggh" heh heh.

    PFAL Online?

Wouldn't suprise me if they made a move claiming they had copyright to the King James Version. But it makes me wonder why they even think PFAL is worth fighting over. Honestly.. they refuse to "publish" it any more. It is NOT a current source of income for them, only a liability. Costs money to try to defend their "honor" in this matter.
  19. Well, you could always ask it for its I.D. Probably have a picture of Dracula on it, DOB in 1942, and definitely NOT an organ donor.
  20. And there are those among them that would do the same to some if not all of us. One thing you can say though, the law worked death, literally. I still don't quite what to make of all this yet. But I agree with you, I can't understand how a God of love can dictate and organize death, especially to the innocent. The argument that the Almighty would know ahead of time of some devilishness, and dispatch it with due haste- well, what about Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, etc., etc...? They'd a been greasespots well before midnight, along with any of their possible devilish "replacements". A lot of the OT was certainly bloody. Seems they pick and choose the worst of it if it seems to support their desires.

    We always get our man

Makes me wonder what will happen when some of the Broward hanging chads resurface in about eighteen years or so..
  22. I think a lot of them are just finding out who or what they really married. It may take twenty five or so years. Or maybe they just forgot. I think my ex figured out that I was from outer space or something. I won't argue.. Can either be a good thing, or scare the carp out of them. I witnessed the latter of the two. We were ALMOST fifty. Does that count?
  23. Yep. And we are sooooo thankful for that pile of bricks in da cornfield.. My name is even in the stinkin book, if they still have it on display. Ptooie.
  24. OK, Belle, heh heh. I used the wrong word anyway. It should have been "appropriate". There, I fixed it..
