    ALFAKAT IS 54

thanks all, especially all old-time, way-back friends from daze of yore... mistah strange, you are hereby ordered to buy the libation for your diss-respeck you have shown..... :drink: seriously, folks, let's do this again next year....
  4. in the Immortal words of one Bugs Bunny.., ..... "WHAT A MAROON!!"
  5. apparently *SOME* folks will... ...NEVER . EVER... . ...EVER get it.... and the rotten shame is they deceive others all the way down..... BUY MY FREAKING BOOK, indeed.... what twaddle.....
  6. hey, bro, I knew you were not doing anything you considered to be heavy or cutting-edge doctrinal or sech-like....I was just playing off excies comment and that we were pre-dog-solja. Your Living Dogs might not have been as splashy as dog soljas, just had longer legs and a little less self-induced grandeur.......
  7. yeppers, excie and ahead of their time since vic really hammered on the dog solja thing teaching Romans to the 7th and 9th korks and this was 6kkthppht kork first year in-rez. Ev always was a trail-blazer....
  8. I remember it well-- Evan's Living Dogs. The barking was really cool cuz everything was so noisy anyways with everyone trying to verify all their twig members were present and all... and then if you were listening, you could hear the 5 or 6 different barks....had not thought of that in ages...it was only 30 years ago....
  9. Mstar-- how many times I have asked myself, why couldn't these guys(all our former twit leader types) take some time to really de-compress from the vey experience???....NO, NO they HAD to jump right in, be the pooh-baa cuz No-One possibly could have made it without some ex-way leader to guide them... <_< Reminds me of blind leaders of the blind.....
  10. well, ack-shually, it was Evan who done that...... my last year our twig was Star-WOWS and we were taking the Word over the Universe, just like Uncle Harry used to pray(does anyone else remember him doing that?) I think we had Light Sabers of the Spirit or something....
  11. Is it just me or is there something a tad fishy about the Prez having the high poo-bah Prophetess as his wife???How convenient, as the church lady might have said.... In fact, a visit from the church lady might just straighten this mess out.... Of course the wife-prophetess is going to back the Prez-husband...no lack of objectivity there, that's for sure.... I thought the Jesus they all revere declared the seeking of signs to be a MAJOR no-no?? Or was dat some otha Jesus???
  12. BINGO! shaz, you are a winnah, winnah, winnah... seems like itching ears to me.... maybe they should try a KISS approach...
  13. ala, you did not read my post closely enough--swatrattra "was" the "name" of the 5star genn-er-rall who KAG so "successfully" dealt with her interim year in kork training...
  14. I will not go into great detail here but KAG has been more or less the type of person described in the letter from JAL's second wife since she was in the in-rez kork. We'uns in the 6ckpphhtt kork had to listen to a loony-tunes tape of her experiences of an "Exorcist, Legion-style" spirit possessed individual on her interim year and the chief spirit named(drum roll, please, give it up for....) SWATRATTRA!! She was a case, she is a case; nuff said, I believe.......
  15. in the sickthpphth kork, we had a fair number of guys who could really play qb--4 or 5 I can remember for sure. Craig did not always play but when he did he did like to qb a lot. Craig was a tight end in college, he was not exactly a great qb. One time, I was on Craig's team, playing receiver and we had not scored a touchdown yet when Craig was called away to do something. The guy who started playing qb asked me 2 plays later if I could take my man deep on the inside and I said sure, hit me on my break about 20 yards down. He hit me in stride, I scored and we went on to win (we were trailing when Craig left). Craig asked us later if we won and we told him that we had. He was fine with it but I think in later years that kind of thing might have p1ssed him off. He sure thought he was a stud basketball player but he always seemed a bit of a ball hog. The worst on that score was G**ald W**nn, he acted like it was first and ten on the hardwood. He was dangerous and I quit playing b-ball my last year in rez cuz it was a freaking scrimmage out there, everybody driving the lane w/ their head down and shoulder lowered-yikes!!
  16. ...you misunderstood me, butIseenow-- I was replying to your description of G**r as a minister, nothing personal against you...read it again that way and you will see my rant was against his methodology and way of doing things and those who buy it hook, line and sinker; not at all against you. You just happened to be the one who so aptly decribed what he do not do...thass all...
  17. .....quite the picture of a Christian minister in that job description, but now I see....he sounds like some medieval monk more than one of the servants of Christ.....you all CG freaks can have your classes, and your seminars and your this and your that...I'll take freedom in Christ ANY OLD DAY......
  18. hey, griffp, I PMed you--check your Private Messages
  19. I will come and I think Jean would....we are about 2.5-3 hours east, above the 3000 ft mark in the Sierra foothills.
  20. Paul, I believe it was the word in Aramaic for workman. I do not remember even paying attention to the connection to the Greek and athlete. I suppose some distant connection was drawn but I do not see how, no real athletic tradition like the Greeks had for games, etc. But vp was so hung up on the whole AOS thing, it had to be right, doncha know.....
  21. paw-- give my love to Larry if you ever have any contact. I tried to email him once and never got any response. Excie-- Paul thought kraggg screamed them down but it was his vic-is-ness who coined their nick-names by telling Paul he had no perception atall and Evan that he was a pablum-swiller. Then lcm picked up the mike and continued the rant. Clearer???
  22. yeah, you're right, Evan-- a bunch of others were up like lightnin', oooohhing and aahhhing over the wondrous new clothes, err, "doctrine of truth" and doing the general toady stuff expected while vic snoozed on. Then you guys awoke him and boy did the dulcet atmosphere switch to harsh and croaking. ahhh, well, no denominational heavy-handedness here, thankee. Jess the way kork, ever eager to learn and find new "truth"....if a course it agreed w/ all the other "truth" already agreed upon.... hmmm, how did we ever get so snowed.....
  23. let me add my memory of the AOTS critique.... I believe vic and lcm along with others were on the stage. lcm had just given his explanation, you guys jumped up to the mike and it was vic, rousing from slumber, it seemed, who pronounced your doom and went back to his "coffee cup" fulla drambuie while lcm expanded on the rail and continued on forever. Larry and I sat there feeling bad but having known this is exactly the result of identifying any gaps in the Emperors logic or clothes, as the case may be.... what a pathetic farce it all really was,.... Biblical Research????? in a pigs eye..... by the by, this happened at the fisrt official corpse week, pre-raca 79. no such meetings pre-raca 78, just raca setup.
  24. well, the funny thing is, for all my memory of most events, I really hardly remember what I did....pg riff had to remind me of this several years ago, as i had completely forgotten I even did it. Get him to tell the story, he knows it better than I  do....
  25. for a generation, how about in Psalms where we have 3 score and 10 years here and (paraphrase) if by grace, 4 score.... so that's 70-80 years from 1948....
