  1. Hi! They were doing well as far as I know 2 years ago. They were out of TWI and in Colorado Springs, CO. They owned a health food store there called ''Back to Basics" ?????(If I recall) They were involved with CFF or CFS or one of them.

    Paranormal State

My cousin is director/founder of Penn State's Paranormal Reseach Society. Now, he's going to be famous....0r infamous... I am proud of him and his goals, following his dreams and all.... I am just not sure if I like the subject matter. Not sure where I stand I guess. He does talk alot about them being ''demons'' and not nice. He really is just trying to help people figure out what is going on in their homes. I watched all the previews. It's not as bad as I was anticipating. I have reserved critisism and judgement.............for now..........lol It airs on A & E on the 10th. www.aetv.com/paranormal-state/

  4. Well, Nero, this is one of the topics that I questioned before leaving TWI. I got the evil eye for sure. "IF" SIT and Int is still real for today( I am not sure now, but don't know), then, why when interpreting was it a message to US????? It was supposed to be ''magnifiying GOD" not ourselves. So, ya, maybe it is blasphemy in a weird way. Personally, I think it was definately done wrong. It should of sounded like this: " You are awesome, God, worthy to be praised, holy, and just........." not, ''my little children, just know that you are beloved in my sight, and I know all the hairs on your head''..... If the first centrury believers heard the apostles speaking ''the wonderful works of God', and MAGNIFY GOD' , then it wouldn't of been about themselves. Keep it up with your questions, that is how you release the bondage....
  5. You are right Jerry.... that would be a great witness! So, what happend to Paul? Where was his ''abundant life?" I seem to think he moved the gospel even more than the original apostles did. I believe that it was a special grace period God gave the apostles to get a kick start and because it was so close to Christ's resurrection. But, most all of them died in the most gruesome deaths. All the while , Saul was arresting, and persecuting Christians before his conversion. Stephen , doing God's will, was then killed. It would be nice if we could sign up for that. But, if the apostles after a few years, didn't have it... I doubt it is ''available'' now. That is the problem with trying to witness the ''more abundant life''. It's not reality. The moment a new Christian gets hit with problems............he's tormented in many ways. Doubt and condemnation ensue. We are to witness Christ, eternal life, and having a relationship with Him( that is the life more abundant...) Not all the ''stuff'' you can do or get. I thought I was getting that kind of ''abundant'' life when I signed the green card............................................. <_<
  6. Its funny you said this , because a few days ago, my pastors wife and I were talking..... she is battling cancer and all the ''stuff'' that goes with the recoup time......anyway....... there is always so much bad and hurt and suffering in this world. I said well, if everything was perfect, we'd be in heaven then. ( She said, "yup, and nobody would want to go to heaven.....) I do love life. But, it really has a lot of sucky parts doesn't it? I don't think death is a friend. But, it is reality. Inevitable. I bother with life so I can further His kingdom, worship Him, serve Him, and help others for Him. I don't think life is here to serve me anymore. Jesus didn't do anything in regards to funerals and stuff in my opinion is because eternal life wasn't available then anyway............so there was nothing to talk about then.... who knows? One of my issues with ''believing'' and healing in a broad sense is that, if everything is just ''honkey dorey'' all the time, then, we would be IN HEAVEN now, (or Heaven paradise on earth, whichever you prefer.....) See, there would be no need for Jesus to come back or for us to go to heaven, cuz, well, life is soo good here. We get all our prayers answered, we can believe to be healed, we can prosper, have abundance, have power............who needs heaven? better yet who needs God? see where I am going with this.....? just a thought
  7. Great topic! I think we will never really know , well, until we die.................. I just rest in the fact that God has it covered, Jesus conquered death, so I will be alright! There is comfort in that. It doesn't all end here.........with a slow ride in a herse. If our ''spirits'' go back to God..............then, we ARE with God, right away! I came across this site a while back, and it really got me thinking. It kinda goes along with WS thinking in this post as to what is the devil etc... If you want to get yourself in a tizzy and your brain cells burning............check it out. We could do another thread on it! http://www.realdevil.info/devilcontents.htm
  8. Sorry Sunny friend, I would be of no help on this one. Never really looked into it. Belle did a good job looking stuff up though. I only suggest that in class, you might want to take the opportunity to challenge everyone to ''think'' for themselves, and see if they can research it and share the results in class. It will get them to not put themselves in a denominational box and it may help foster a greater appreciation for other views. btw, how's it going????
  9. Ha Ha ! I like Xena too.........the author and moderator of that site is a female. Her name is Dee Dee Warren. What's even funnier is that just last night, my husband was going over possible baby names (i am with child) and one was ''Z'' ena.... He said it meant ''large breasts".. LOLOLOLOLOLOL! I don't think we'll be using that one............ I agree with most of your conclusions. Christ is the center, beginning and the end. I guess it's just the ''how'' of the ''what'' many disagree on. No matter. I never put myself in any camp anymore. I really try to allow God to direct me, whether it is mainstream or popular. Not follow man or creed. I am ok with that finally. :)
  10. Hi Sunesis! I totally understand your questions......or disagreements................. that is why it is important to look into which ''preterism'' you are talking about. Most of your concerns are from the ''hyper, or full preterists'' belief camp. They are known to many in the orthodox Christian circles as heretics! No, Jesus is not finished! It's about semantics if I can say that without gagging............. please read up on this here http://www.preteristsite.com/docs/warrensemantics.html Please let me know what you think of it. bless
  11. You guys would really enjoy it over on www.theologyweb.com You can get into all this stuff with very well educated and ''deep thinking'' persons.......... I enjoy it very much. I also recomend, as I said before, on the ''orthodox preterist'' study www.preteristsite.com bless
  12. You are partially right Carl. The 'rub' is that it is NOT FINISHED. He is coming.................but for what is the question ''partial'' preterists asks. The ''Full'' or "Hyper'' preterist camp claim he came back and all is done. Most consider this position ''heretical''. I agree. In true preterism this is not the case. They believe in the Olivet discouse in Mat 24......describes what happend to the temple and people in 60AD. Note Jesus talking about ''this generation''.........But he is still coming back for the judgements and to finish his course. The HOPE is still THE HOPE! When he comes, he comes. And we will be there for it all. It's just not with all the ''rapture'', 7 year tribulation hoopla.
  13. ((((((((((((((((((((Please, anybody?????????))))))))))))))))))) Still need to find him. Sue, if you read this please get back to me. thanks.
  14. (((((NERO)))) So so so sorry for this situation with your dad. I'l be praying for God to give you strength during this time. TWI teaching though, was that the ''Soul'' is part of the personality. What makes you , you. Breath life. "Spirit'' is the gift that goes back to God when you die. Now, this is what they teach and what was taught. As far as my opinion goes, if your dad as incurred brain damage, that would not have anything to do with his spirit or even his ''soul'' for that matter. Nothing else takes it's place. He's just got physical issues that took away his ability to remember, or think clear etc......... the ''brain'' (pysically) is not the soul. Think of it as a leg or heart, or stomache.........if those things were not working, you wouldn't be having issue with it. (I understand its bigger in terms of how he will be....) He is not dead. He needs you to still be there for him like God would want you to. I would'nt worry about how it will all turn out in heaven. God, is GIGANTIC in all ways. Beyond our human comprehension. So, we don't have to figure out the HOW, just know that He will remember your dad, and how he was. I hope I helped a little, all the best to you , bliss
  15. ((((thanks)))) I actually found Photobucket. They do video, pics, albums etc.... I emailed the link to my family to enjoy my daughters birthday! :)
  16. OOOOOOPSSSS MY BAD! Happy B lated Birthday. I should give the shout out to your mama. She did all the work! Hope you had a great day! ((((mwah))))
  17. Heard her............... Had enough of her.................... I can only take so much ''finger pointin''. I looked under her nails too, and she ain't got no "good'' dirt under there. I really have a problem with folks that don't practice what they preach. Beth Moore IMO puts her to shame in the ''humility'' category.
  18. HI! I am trying to figure out how to send a LARGE (more than my isp will allow) video clip to Grandma of my children's birthday. I downloaded it onto my computer, and then, went to send, it was way too big. Is there a free site or space somewhere for them to view it? or just burn it and send the dvd? thanks!
  19. This makes me so sick. It speaks so LOUD about their real motives and intents............how TWI doesn't just distance itself from '' the unbelievers'', it wants to make darn sure it separates itself from other ''Christians"..........You wonder why everyone else calls them a cult still... isolated hiding wormy cold secretive elitist under-rock dwellers pompous ????????????????????????? I agree Nero...................why don't YOU WAY folks (big wigs) do some REAL GOOD in the world????? Stop wasting time and money on frivilous law suits to make you look ''important''. Make some real contributions for ''GOD"...................it's just beyond their comprehension............ just ridiculous
  20. Hi Nicole. I feel for ya. My family was raised since sperm in The Way. I still have family ''IN"........ They are good people. Great people really. Great intentions. Great hearts...........for the WORD................. I feel like I was ''good'' most of the time too. I personally am very open with people on the outside that I was in a ''cult''. They are intrigued. I laugh a lot about it now. Mostly, being ''IN" has nothing to do with being ''good''. The machine of the ministry was/ is bad. Not the people who fell for it. That is what makes it so sad. btw~ I never give the ministry credit for God's doing. God works for /with people when they allow HIM to. No matter what denomination/affiliation they are with. You were born because God knew you before the foundations of the world. Not because of the Way Ministry. God would've brought you all together some other way. You have a loving family. It doesn't matter where they went, or what they were into........ what matters is they were doing it for love and God. Remember that! blessings!

    Warning

Since you consider yourself one to ''do the Word'', maybe you should start "doing'' some of it................ hummmm........... what is a "Christian Male'' supposed to do with evil, perverse, unhealthy, sinful, commandment breaking thoughts? Philippians 4:8 King James Version 8Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. hummm, let see what else it says about the innermost thoughts............... Matthew 5:28 28But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart And yes, it is breaking a COMMANDMENT! I apply it for the here and now, since I am not a dispy. But, like it or not, according to Jesus, it is wrong. Oldies, and whoever else agrees to his illogic, you need lots of prayer, and repentence. I will offer my prayers.
  22. ROFL!!!! WWeather! The POOP Whisperer! I love it.
  23. I wonder if I should try this? Heck, Eve didn't use diapers.......... http://www.diaperfreebaby.org/
