Belle, Thanks for bringing this info to the forefront. In a 1997 corps meeting, martinfail declared to us that most corps were not spiritually adept enough to do "true research." He went on to say that any and all research would be done by "his research team." Period!! After this corps hook-up, I was so furious that martinfail had such arrogance to spout such bogus trash. It was ANOTHER glaring red-flag that showed me twi was upping the ante of their cultdom. Heck, in twi.......in-depth research is gone, the revelation manifestations are non-existent. Everything has to be checked thru to your IDOLATROUS leadership!!!!! Everything. The corps teachings DEMEAN and BELITTLE the corps constantly. Its verbal abuse and the abusee cowers to the mogfarts. The green card lied. It said we'd be able to rightly-divide the word of truth if we took the pfal class.

Belle, Thanks for posting this info here. Yeah, five years of silence on lcm....his whereabouts, his "dropkicked to the gutter" clergy/corps status, his debunked leadership, his abundance of sexcapades, his disqualification from any spiritual leadership, etc. And yet (?????).......twi elevates "lcm's research" on the rise and expansion stuff in Acts???? The wheels of their evil go round and round and round. They are stifled in the mud of monotony. And, of course........the guilt-ridden push for outreach, outreach, outreach. It always seems to surface in August/September......a new year, doncha know. ;)--> So thankful my brain kicked in about ten years ago and I found solid ground. That mudhole outside newknoxville is a real sink-hole AND stink-hole.

And one more thing..... The "slave" labor of corps during corps weeke and throughout the rock AND sign-up volunteers from each state made the roa the event that it was. With all corps (in 1995) now on payroll status, the roa would have NO LONGER been a money-making venture (horrors! horrors!) and would chaff the trustees for doing something that would actually encourage fellowship. Without the corps numbers.....the roa was gasping for survival. It was only a matter of time. Micromanaged to death.

ya right --> I am one who firmly believes that loyboy was lying thru his teeth that night AND...... the reason the rock of ages was cancelled was because of loy's false revelation to put all corps on the payroll. When the corps were put on fulltime payroll status in August 1995......this meant that all future ministry events would have to budget the payroll to include travel/hotel/gas/food/etc. expenditures that 1200 (??) corps would incur to attend ministry events. IMO ole loyboy had no concept of the things he set in motion when he blurted out his FALSE REVELATION FROM "GOD"......and had to have others show him how to connect the financial dots. By September of 1995, in our first or second corps meeting.....lcm declared that ONLY SELECTED CORPS would be invited to work at the Dallas WIB. Again.......$$$$$$$$$$$$$ It was SO OBVIOUS! The homo spirit crap was a cover.......to cover martinfail's foot on this false revelation....."revelation" that NEVER produced the boastful fruit that lcm SAID would happen!! Twi vehemently HATES to spend money once it enters their greedy little coffers!!!! Whenever looking for motive on twi......ALWAYS look at the money trail. Twi is pathetic.

Steve and Sharon Hartlaub live in Madison Wisconsin. They have five adorable kids and left twi back in 1989 or so. To them, twi is dust under their feet.

Belle, The staff corps.....like the security and confinement of being ordered around. Some justify this meager existence with the ridiculous claim of "doing it for God." Some field corps....have alienated themselves from family, coworkers, community involvement and the like for decades --- and, now in the 50s, this rut runs deep and wide. Some corps.....live on the banks of deNile (denial). They justify their actions and they "cut and paste" scriptures whenever it suits their means. To CHANGE....would involve a process that brings up thousands of questions, thousands of red flags, thousands of hurts and neglects. Lots of reasons.

TK, Yes, I heard about this. But very few know about this one...... I was at the Sunday teaching in 1982/83 where Don W. was the teacher and Walter C. the emcee.......about 40 minutes into the service, the fire alarm went off! This predated the Auditorium -- and the sunday services were held in the OSC dining room. Well, everyone was evacuated and the Safety guys ran to the OSC grid to see what quadrant of the building the fire was located. It was in the Bookstore/Warehouse area and when several of us ran out to the bookstore shelving, up on the top rack a small fire was ablaze. Lo and behold, it took about 3 minutes and the Safety guys found out who started the fire. The cover-up was immediate, but several of us found it amusing and ironic in light of the two men at the podium that night. The two young boys who started the fire......Rxlphie Wierwille and Bxbby Cxmmins.

Some 20 years ago, the Way Corps Director was responsible to oversee the corps training in FIVE locations. Today, the dwindled and pathetic work is inching along at gunnison only. At this rate, there seems to be very little difference between the corps coordinator [at gunnison] and the corps director [at hq]. IMO...the extreme lack of corps growth and involvement gives the glaring indicator that twi is a dying religion. Seemingly, VERY FEW want the corps commitment anymore!! Oh, sure....the hq staff/corps sit in their offices and make big fat claims, but DOING THE FIELD WORK is nonexistent. It's a telling tale of twi's hypocrisy.

Noted for her "planning expertise" Rosie might have finally realized that twi was/is on a downward trend and is grasping for new avenues, new attempts to resurrect some growth. Roger Mitlxr......selected to advise twi president on physical aspects, facilities and maintenance of twi. Vince McF@ddeb....selected to advise twi president on way corps promotion, training procedures and corps grad assignments. John Rxpp.........selected to advise twi president on trunk and new foundational class procedures. Just another wrinkle to try a different approach......plus, the "new foundation class" will run old grads through another system of rules and add to STS announcements. Legalism has choked the life out of twi.......just a few knee-jerk motions linger.

Interesting assignment changes.... Wonder if Harve "crossed the line" with some issues and rosie black-listed him?? Sorta like the John Rxynolds change. A few years in the spotlight....and whamo! Back to lickin' high heels. Shouldn't take all that long to bump him from region guy......down to branch responsibilities, and then see how long he stays faithful to twi. Hope, from what I've heard......your former BC is NOT desiring a ministry paycheck any longer. He is back in school and his goals are not equivalent with "salted" corps leaders. He's already got two or three years of schooling under his belt.....and I seriously doubt that he's gonna jump horses again. Been there, done that. Besides, he's got one of those "back-door mortgages" and twi would clearly frown on this arrangement. :D--> :D-->

Martindale was grasping for anything to make it look like he was on the cutting edge of insight and spiritual revy. And the mini-mog scenario -- moneyhands, ruppy, spaghetti, lindy, platig, and others -- is lurking near the surface of their smugness.

Yeah! What Catcup said!! I sat in those corps meetings.......and martindale was livid on any believer giving to "second rate causes" and "welfare charities." YES......YOU WERE ROBBING GOD TO GIVE TO ANYONE OTHER THAN THE ONE TRUE HOUSEHOLD OF THE WAY SPEWTH. And, why does twi have to be "the middle man" in giving to this tsunami relief??? For the appearance of compassion and concern?? Sheeesh. Or.....why not just make a STS announcement stating that "if you'd like to send to the tsunami relief effort, please do so at your own discretion and forego sending in your abs for a week or two.!! Belle, Yeah, and the "bad" just lingers and lingers. Legalism does that! Sometimes, people wait around until the corps leadership is reassigned and then, they split. After years of being belittled and badgered, most would rather avoid another confrontation. Another thing....being "out and about" is becoming MORE attractive as the testimonies of exitees who've moved forward in life, jobs, homes, etc. filters back to innie friends. Plus, the false prophecies of twi leadership have fallen flat. No greasespots, no sudden deaths, no fatal car accidents, no plagues,.......hmmmmmmmm, maybe twi's board of directors is full of xxxx. As the topic of "people left in twi" exposes the feeble numbers who affiliate with that cornfield outfit.......being "in" sure ain't what it used to be. Now granted, there are many different perceptions of the 60s, 70, and 80s twi involvement........BUT nowadays, its pathetically mind-numbing and legalistic. Also, twi is so not-with-it.....sorta like driving a chevy citation in the year 2005. Of course, the hq staff have a vested interest in promoting it. To me, the question...."Why stay when you're miserable?"....is too vague. With lcm at the helm, twi was violating the research keys that they claimed to propose. With lcm at the helm, howard and don were simply yes-men to support lcm's false prophecies. With lcm at the helm, "the word WAS over the world" was idiotic rationalization. With lcm at the helm, twi was spiraling out of control at multiple levels. With lcm at the helm, donna and rosie were "whispering in the mog's ear" and he was oblivious. With lcm at the helm, the full-time corps "revelation" was a fiasco. With lcm at the helm, the wannabes like Reynolds, Rupp, Horney, Spaghetti were noodlers. What a joke!! Martindale was a SPIRITUAL PIKER compared to Peter and John in Acts 4. Along with twi hierarchy, he lived off the fat of the lamb.......full salary, chalet living, medical & dental & chiropractic services, full car maintenance for his family, travel expense account, love offerings (cash in fist -- tax free money), gifts sent to mog, etc. etc. etc. Some highly speculate that ROA abundant sharing (barrels of cash) was skimmed and sent over to the chalet. He11....with all those atrocities, martindale was not just a spiritual piker, he was downright evil to try and deceive the followers!!!! Belgian Shepherd Origins: Belgian. A hard working shepherd dog around since the Middle Ages.
