  1. He could have meant 'check disk' Double click My Computer right click the drive 'c' left click properties left click tools left click 'check now' It will probably want you to restart to perform. This tool is also in your start menu under system tools. Yeah take the password out-good idea. Or unplug the phone line and that program may complain too. Spybot is great for finding rogue dialers. http://www.spybot.info/en/index.html
  2. Well.....John I don't know why you don't speak up for yourself. The negatives will come if you do, but so what. From what I gathered from when we talked, You are honest. As far as I have seen. And here hundreds of people are listening. Do what you think is best. I'm sure you are not recruiting. But here is some facts. If you would like you could fill in the blanks. Or not. No explainining is needed. But your Heart on the matter.
  3. yeah...that is a consideration on the integrity of those involved a letter sent to all associates of cff sounds lazy to me
  4. So perhaps Job was really talking to himself?
  5. I believe all people have changed to some degree after leaving twi. Also that many were good people in twi. John I have talked to but have not gone to any of cff's fellowships. I know of some teachings that have changed and that's about it. I'm with Danny on why they didn't just talk on the phone or face to face. Such is one of the many problems of organizations I suppose. And perhaps there was a good reason to be sneeaky like that. I don't know. I can't judge a person by the organization they are or were involved in. I do have the right and resposibility to judge people but to also give them the benefit of a doubt room to grow consider my own mistakes on judging. And I judge people because I need to know what I can say, what I can do, my association with them and also to learn from them. I like people who are honest, and don't we all? As far as judging on the timing of when a person left twi. That has no bearing on the person in my mind. Whether they knew of the bad and ugly or not. For those who saw all good in twi, I'd call it a mistake. I've made quite afew and I'm sure we all have. I know people that go to cff and involved in different aspects of it. This also does not affect my judgement of the individual. Ministries and churches and organizations serve purposes. That's all. They are not the God of Gods nor the people running them. If they help someone I'm all for it. If they hurt people I'm against it. Some do both so what to do about that? I will never be committed to any organization ever. That is a mistake because they are run by people. A cause I can commit myself to and also change. So I hope that this action that really has not been clearly set forth. Does not affect your own judgement of the individual, and stay that way the rest of your lives. I have judged vpw as one to stay away from. Of course I made that judgement after he has passed on. Yet his words are still taught and believed by many. But they can change too. The funny thing is, we will all change, yeah...from the inside out and the the outside in. Looking at what is part is not seeing the whole in this case. As well as the greater 'case' of what is really real. So there I go preaching again..lol... Some don't like my words.... I wonder how they judge me.
  6. yeah my son says they are better too, especially the x2's socket 939 that's what he wants for me i don't need much and look for deals with good speed
  7. There's 100's of classes on these pages. and yes take it in your own time. Or don't take it all. pfal was not a class it was a scam and a way to enslave by the grace of God most got out and it never did get past Genesis 1:1
  8. Good insight T-Bone Great description of a mind working with what we already have. And coming up with that which we didn't realize we had!
  9. thanks for the links igotout too bad that kind of teaching is not geared toward a more positive approach they might even get the positives out of ones present and not past and what they call the lord or god or the holy spirit is questionable sounds like just mental work to me when the Lord Jesus Christ does it you will know the ever present now
  10. What does every person on the planet that ever was, will be and is now share? What is the devil? that's the question I reckon. What is God? To see God one can also see the devil. and both for what they truly are. A small glimpse or glance is only a part. Which we all can see a part. Listening to others helps us to see more of what this God is. As you probably figured, I believe God is within. The kingdom of God is within. Well that's pretty darn big. Takes more then a few verses and word studies to see. Though these things will help, even if these things haven't been done. He is still there, silent, waiting for silence to be heard. A whisper can be a shout and a shout a whisper...
  11. And this all depends on where God is wouldn't it? And everything else spirituallt related. Is God something out side of ourselves, as well as what many call the 'devil'? And if he is not outside of ourselves, and not just you and I, then who is the dictator?
  12. kind of like JC huh I don't buy the general definition and story of the devil by 'christianity'. Also just because there is no evil doesn't mean there is no choices. There's lots of good choices....
  13. I'd say we do not have the whole story of what happened. Personally I'd never allow myself or my family to have anything vpw related. Including cff cef and the like. They are not flexible enough for the spirit to work. As in much religions. I must stay free from being trapped into any religion.
  14. Catching those thoughts that floating around in the sky of the mind and bring back to the earth of the mind and let grow back to the sky. And see what becomes of it and watch how the mind works with it's ownthoughts, it's own reasoning, it's own imagination. Whether spiritual or building a computer or anything else. There so many things that go through the mind all the time. It is the most powerful computer there is-ha! Even those thoughts and imaginations that seem to be unlikely, and really especially those that seem unlikely are the ones to explore.
  15. the conversation was jumping around quickly this guy was dodging and changing subjects to not answer for his own reasoning which is fine but then he turned on us like he was our god or something it was fun...:) but kind of sad too sprawled out, i think you got a good handle on it
  16. I'm sure she got it by the spirit of God working in her. Along with what she understands by common sense. They do work together. And it's an imagination thing too. Here are some quotes from her, i don't think she would mind The discussion came around to that verse and imagination but the person using this verse against us was not understanding much at all. And of course more words could be put with hers. Cause without imagination we couldn't 'see'.
  17. good point sprawled and also t-bone try checking out progressive theology some guy name Whitehead. It'll come up as he's a math guy. Anyway lots to think about here.
  18. You can use widgets to add things to your desktop without any trouble. The clock looks like yahoo's widget. Google and Yahoo have widgets. And you can make your own. Plus you don't have to make your desktop an 'active desktop'. Meaning that it needs a constant internet connection. Vista probably did what XP did and bought rights to other programs and incorparated them into their os.
  19. I just got some great insight on imagination from a friend. And no, it wasn't Todd. 2 Cor 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; Casting down is like planting it or sticking it in the earth to see what becomes of it. To examine it with thoughtfull reason. The things that exalt themselves above God will melt away. So imaginations are not wrong, and to keep this thread in doctrinal, which is where it needs to be. I thought I'd throw this in.
  20. http://www.apple.com/macpro/ Xeon has been in servers for a while now its on tyhe desktop! Ok Intel drop the prices of your other procesors now..lol...
  21. excellent lindy, don't know what to say but keep it coming i'll have some eventually i'm brainstorming it in the blue sky :)
  22. Hi Jerry and pond, No I wasn't thinking of lcm's slant on it at all. In fact his use of it is for selfishness imo. More the reality of what it is, how it's used in every day life and why we use it. Because we all have it and use it, it's part of our being. More like what's it's purpose and things like that.
  23. What ya'll think? Imagination http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imagination
