If I ever get my hands on a dollar again, I'm gonna hold on to it 'til them eagles grin.

Ahhhhh! Such fond memories of The Way International, gently nestled in the mystic foothills of BIG ROCK CANDY MOUNTAIN.

Midnight Confession-----The Grass Roots -
One thing I know, though, is that he made the right choice when he chose LCM. I mean, what with him walking by revelation all the time and all that, how could he possibly have made an idiotic choice?

I've said it before. I don't think VPW really gave a ratz azz whether "the ministry" continued to exist after he was gone as long as people continued to hold HIM (VPW) in high regard. And, there are quite a few people who still do, as evidenced by the Face Book page.

Why are you "here"? I'm not "there". -
Maybe they're on the down-low.

They surely seem to be inordinately obsessed with numbers for a group that "has no members".

Not my #1 fantasy, either. Wierwille had an attitude toward homosexuality that pretty much typified his generation. (At least the attitude that he displayed publicly) I really don't think he actually understood very much about homosexuality beyond what goes on at the basic nuts and bolts level.

Well, the postman always rings twice, you know.

OMG, are you the mailman?!! Nope. Never even played one on T.V.

Another good thread, gone to the dogs.

It would be nuts NOT to.

Yeah. One of the first things I do is ask the dog's name. The dog likes that I know his/her name and the owner is tickled I've taken an interest in their dog.

I encounter them while working, on what is their home turf. I'm the intruder, in their eyes.

I've been attacked by lots of dogs. I had a face-off with a dog that weighed about 20 pounds about 45 years ago. His teeth marks are still quite noticeable on my face. I had an encounter with a Lab (black, not chocolate) and a pit bull about 10 years ago. Apparently, they mistook my leg for a pork chop. Ouch! My most recent painful encounter was with a trained attack dog about a year ago.(German Shepherd) Fortunately, his trainer called him off before he could eat much more than my coat sleeve and a dab of skin. Yesterday I encountered a monster sized Doberman. Luckily, he was constrained behind a fence. The owner boasted that the dog had already bitten five people. What kind of moron would be proud of such a thing? And, so, my basic philosophy regarding dogs is that, no matter how big or small, if they still have their teeth, they can hurt you.

That's all fine and dandy, but, how do we even know for sure that VP actually earned a degree there if the institution won't, at the very least, confirm that fact?

I'm guessing it may have had something to do with the survivalist craze in the mid 1970s. (Self sufficiency and all that stuff)
