  1. How about this one? If you feel like leaving You know you can go But why don't you stay until tomorrow? If you want to be free All you've got to do is say so
  2. Gee, you mean it doesn't fit like a hand in a glove? I'm shocked! Thoroughly Throughly shocked!
  3. Sometimes "sitting on the fence" can offer the best seat in the house.
  4. It's much easier to understand the reasoning behind this thinking when you finally accept that the whole thing was simply a veiled, business driven MLM scheme designed to generate profits for VPW.
  5. Maybe we've just been wasting our time, trying to climb .
  6. Sorry, I don't know them. Berry Mellow sounds vaguely familiar. Is there something specific you are trying to find out? The vast majority of people here were involved during the 1970's and 1980's. BTW----Welcome to The Cafe. (It's on the house.)
  7. We had Santa Claus and all the traditional things when I was a kid. Then, when I was 21, I got involved with TWI and fell for their schtick--- hook, line and sinker. Makes me wonder how much "profound" impact can result from celebrating Christmas the old-fashioned, traditional way.
  8. Sorry Charlie for the imposition I think I've got it, got the strength to carry on I need a drink and a quick decision Now it's up to me, ooh what will be
  9. Can I do the flip charts? Please, please?
  10. I never heard of it. Sounds to me, though, like a scheme to get people to witness.
  11. Raf did some mighty fine work on this subject. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find it at the moment.
  12. What if VP was reincarnated as a porn star turned preacher? Same old same old.
  13. Yes. But if it stays lifted for more than 4 hours--------oh, never mind.
  14. D.> "Hey. listen! They're playin' our song!" R.> "Oh, you mean, ?"D.> "No, I mean Play With Your Poodle"
  15. I don't remember where (SNS or ROA maybe?) but I heard this same argument, almost word-for-word, when I was in TWI. I don't agree with it as evidence of the law of believing. For one thing, it uses grace and intercession to rationalize the obvious reality that a "law" is something that is constant.
  16. I remember hearing/reading that exact same teaching years ago. I may even have a copy of it buried somewhere in my junk heap. I'm curious now where those statistics originated.
  17. At least we don't "stretch" the coffee.
  18. I buried Paul's strawberry in a field.
  19. "Where am I? Are we going 'bird' hunting, Vic? Hey, Nurse, how's about a 'holy kiss' for your dear Uncle Howard"?"
