  12. WW For some reason, every time I try to email you, it comes back as undeliverable. Can you start a private topic? here at the forum? That will work. ex10

    Bad Poetry

OC Real bad taste, considering the experiences of some here. Ok, you probably don't mean to be so insulting and degrading, but.......you are on this post.
  15. firebee I'll bring the chips and queso, and some folding chairs.
  16. Verbie Thanks for posting this here. I really enjoyed reading it. But somehow I think the clientele here is a bit too rowdy for "polite society." I actually have used some of these more polite tactics in the past, even tried to graciously provide someone a way out of the pit they dug for themselves, held the door wide open for them to graciously apologize, even apologized myself to cover someone elses social clumsiness. But it usually is to no avail. The rowdy patrons here seem to respond better to getting knocked upside the head. Not all, but some. (You of course are not in that category, my well mannered friend.) Love, Your chief groupie
  17. Cathy and I were in-rez together, and everybody used to get us confused cause we looked alot alike. Sometimes, just for fun, we would switch nametags and see who noticed. I haven't seen or heard from her since the 80's, but would love to get in touch with her again. She is from California. Anybody know how to contact her?
  18. old man I can't help but wonder what you are hiding underneath your haughtiness?
  19. ex, do I get a prize for casting the first vote?
  20. Someone told me they are with CFF. Maybe they could be found through them as well.
  21. Hey you fellow BB King fans. I don't know if you guys ever get down to Memphis but BB has a club on Beale Street. Whenever he's in town, he plays there and like you said Socks, it's great. His club isn't that big, and you can touch the musicians from the dance floor. He's a pretty friendly guy and likes to hang out and talk and such. He's definitely the king at his club. When he's not there, and sometimes even if he is, there's a phenominal singer, Miss Ruby, the "Queen of Beale Street," who usually sings a set or two. The club closes at 2 am, and she always closes with a prayer thanking Jesus Christ her Lord and Saviour. She's a sweetie, and hubby and I have sat and talked with her a time or two. She considers Beale Street her "mission field." Al Green also pastors a big church in Memphis and the music there really rocks. I love the music scene in Memphis. So if you guys are ever in the neighborhood, it's a good place to stop in.
