  1. Mr. Lone Wolf, You'd make a great Way Corps Minister.
  2. Mr. Elmo, Anyone who knew her recently will not give too much detail this soon on this site. I probably as shocked as you to find out that she was involved with the lawsuit. I assure you she's in New Knoxville.
  3. She and her current husband Ted, are still at HQ.
  4. As far as I know, the Christadelphians believe almost exactly what ADAN says. (I haven't checked every detail) and they've been around 100-200 years. There are probably other groups. The teaching of holy spirit and manefestians I have not found elsewhere either.
  5. Stephen Daniel I was told was a minister prior to the way, I'll have to ask for more names the greene's and claudette royal I believe have quite an influence aaron hampton, mucullough(sp?),, chavoustie, linder, are some favorites The fox is keeping a lid on some of the personnal style so as to stay away from LCMs style, but she can't do this forever. More important the younger guys on the cabinet, hampton, brooks, and the computer guy that does the bicycle tricks, will be a influence in moving away from the uncle howie style of running things. If the way can forget the wierwilles, martindales, georges, and other "Names", I think a lot can change for the better. It ain't over till the fat lady sings.
  6. Thought I'd play with the poll option
  7. If that was your cousin chewing on the side of my house lately, please ask him to stop. nic pic
  8. Waysider, Thanks, I never really thought of Jesus Christ being reduced in importance in twi, but definitely there was lot's of Trinitarian bashing, but I have noticed in other churches placing emphasis on having a relationship with JC/God. For me, I think the issue has a lot to do with distinction between faith and believing. (If there is or is not a difference I'm not sure.) Other christians talk of faith in a way that emphasis a trust and relationship. With believing and twi, it was more about you and your effort to live up to the standard of the Word, Maybe I've crossed a few topics here but I think they're all related. I'm still trying to work this out in my head.
  9. dMiller, So you can pray to Jesus and God and believe they are not one and the same?
  10. SOM, Waysider, Can you have a relationship with Jesus and not believe in the Trinity? If you don't believe the Trinity, you don't pray to Jesus, so there can't be a relationship can there? (forgive me if I've derailed)
  11. Yea, I don't understand how one can have a relationship with Jesus if they are Unitarian(or similar). Relationship with God, yes, not Jesus.
  12. Plus the Fox's grip can only last so long. . .
  13. errrrrr, there are those still at the cabinet level with real minister experience. The Fox is adding young blood to the cabinet. I think there are plenty still in power without the greed of their predecessors, and with the memory of the past mistakes. I have no reason to believe The Way will not experience another explosion (maybe not as big, and probably not soon) if left alone. When the old crones leave with their soy bean ways and the younger guys (that can operate a computer) take the reins.
  14. Okay okay okay, LCM, an adulterer, no secret (and probably worse) VP, the same, I can believe that OK Now the Fox, being a . . . leaving the natural use of the . . . well you get it.  I first heard this about 8 years ago and just laughed at the idea. This keeps coming up in jest here on GC. Where did this idea come from and is there any real evidence? (If this were proven wouldn't it be a final blow to twi?)
  15. As a mature disciple one should be able to self discipline oneself and always be excited about the truth of God's Word, which He has magnified above His Holy Name. One should not need charismatic teachings, for the Truth that is presented in a logical and powerful manner is enough to excite. . :yawn1: a true disciple of . . . :sleep1: :sleep1:
  16. I never really liked the title of "Jesus Christ is not God" 1. It causes immediate defensiveness of other Christians. Not exactly thought provoking. 2. It might as well be titled "Jesus Christ is not a camel"
  17. ImSunny2, I'm sure God sees your heart. Seek and yea shall find . . .
  18. Are churches themselves organizations? (I've only ever been a part of twi) I just think of churches as places for christians to gather for fellowship and to be reminded of the bible's teachings. People need to gather to support each other. Do christians get together without some demonitation or organization playing a part? Even greasespot has administrators. (I'm not arguing, just asking)
  19. Are there CES members at GS? We all still need fellowship with others. I just thought if there were a ministry of people were as a ministry they could say "Hey, we thought this might work, it doesn't seem too, we need to try something else." Without using most of their time to praise the Board of Directors or whatever. You now, actually being a dynamic church.
  20. So. . . As a ministry. . .Is CES admitting they've screwed up?
  21. I was still short when that happened. I thought it was Mrs. O. Oh well.
  22. When I was growing up, I stacked a lot of wood. All year round. Sometimes, you spend a good part of the day stacking a wall of wood only to realize it's unsteady. To fix this, you don't just keep stacking. You stop, tear everything down, and start over. Do it right.
